Missed you so much! Always such great content! I've been watching since Sandy was a baby, which I'm so glad that you're taking the approach of not showing the kids faces. I think a healthier way for them to grow up, I will miss seeing how much they'll change. You both look better than ever.

I have missed you! The babies are getting so big!
Wishing you success in your other projects. Seasons change and watching you and your kids navigate life has been a blessing. I noticed their faces are gone now, it was like a door was closed. That is probably best for them in the long run, but we will miss them. Times change and your RUclips channel might not be a priority now? I'm so glad you can keep all that hard work you did to keep those memories forever.
It's good to know your all ok and thriving .

Ellen, I’ve been watching you for many many years, normally as silent viewer however I have to commend you on Taking approach of no longer showing your children’s face. I truly believe this is a healthy long-term goal, in my personal opinion I don’t think it makes a difference. You still get the idea of your beautiful children and their personalities.

Always a pleasure to see your videos (and listen to your podcast too). Is that a ceramic pot with the cocoa in it in which you are using metal with it? Metal damages ceramic big time, and creates toxins when it is scratched. I suggest silicone with ceramics. I love that your kids are using Bob Ross to encourage their painting. Congratulations on the piano. Your kids are doing a great job. When my oldest children were homeschooled, they also followed the Suzuki method for their instruments and it was amazing. Unfortunately after a few years they gave up those things as there was no passion behind it. I hope your kids will have a passion that sticks for them!

Although I will miss seeing your children's beautiful faces. I am very happy you are protecting. Their privacy . It is very sad and unfortunate, but we live in a world where there are a lot of pedophiles that scour the internet for those that are not aware. As a mother, I would never show my child's face.
@@goldier2264 those creepy “people” are not interested by children’s faces. And if they wanted children faces, there are tons of those - in films, advertisements etc.

You need a greenhouse to grow tomatoes and cukes in Hawaii?? Isn't it warm enough without a greenhouse?
it's deifnitely warm enough! we have different kinds of issues like lots of bugs and other things. the greenhouse even in hawaii creates controlled temperature regulation, protecting the plants from extreme heat and fluctuations in nighttime temperatures. And pretty much every farmer we know at the farmers market grows theirs in a greenhouse. Weve grown tomatoes on our land without a greenuouse before but have never had a super great harvest. i would love a bountiful amount of tomatoes to make our own pasta sauces one day :)
@@EllenFisher Sounds great. I struggle with growing tomatoes here in sw Montana too. Unheated polytunnel didn't help much. Oh well. Greens grow really well here. Nothing grows in winter though. Hope you get your greenhouse soon! Love seeing everything you can grow on your property there.

@@CassyExploringEllen is a public figure, not her children - times have changed, she thankfully made the responsible shift towards providing them with some anonymity/privacy, but most importantly - for their safety. I can understand enjoying watching children thrive and grow, but there’s a boundary that viewers need to respect. No one needs to see their faces, her shares are about her life and she can share that however she pleases.

Sandy and Koufax were named after the famous baseball player Sanford Koufax, so Sandy’s full name is probably Sanford!

Love the sauna it’s really fantastic. My oldest son works for the university here and they get to use the photobiomodulation on for healing , reduce pain and increases athletic performance. I have a small red light therapy in my bedroom it’s a great way to relax

Ellen, I’m so glad you’re back, but it’s a pity you are not showing kids anymore… I was inspired by you and started my channel showing my kids. And now you change your mind… I’m really confused now. I watched half of this video so far and I feel it’s really not like before, it lost something important…
It’s basic respect for the fact that her children may not look back on these videos and be happy that their life was on display to so many strangers.. You don’t need to like this, but it’s a shame you can’t see the benefit in her giving her children some more privacy. Go Ellen for doing what feels right to her in the moment instead of catering to those like you who expect a certain version of her to go on without growing.
It's a "Pity" this type of comment pops up. What is a content creator suppose to do after reading this? Is this constructive criticism, so she can go back and change her content to amuse you? People change, that's how life goes, and protecting her children is the best thing she can do. Roll with the change or exit out.
