Pinaka na surprised ako sa boses ni Kim at Winston. Si kyler may isa syang kinanta country song napaka baba ng boses nya mas maganda yun iba boses nya dun. Yes si Marcus nag iba kasi boses nya since last year di na daw nya ma hit yung matataas.
hi chuck actually they have a ballad song w/c is "Salamat" you can check there are little harmonization.
according to them they dont have vocal training yet here in the ph they focused on dancing 12 hrs a day. but once they go to korea theyll be focusing on vocal. so yes lets not hurry them they havnt debuted yet they will be training plans in korea.

I am a tita A'TIN and an tita ANCHOR, too. I support both coz on the global stage, they will raise and wave the same flag, the flag of my/our beloved country. There should be no hate. oh for vocals, I saw Reyster's vids singing in Tiktok, and oh wow oh wow, impressive!!! but all of them voices are good, they all can sing.

After being formed as Hori7on just last month (Feb.12), their management made them focused on dance trainings to develop synchronicity through live performances. Pagdating nila sa SK, they will be trained more on vocals. Last month lang po sila nabuo as team/group at di sila katulad ng iba na may formal training for more than a year so sana irespect natin yung process or pattern na sinusunod nila.

As an observations in their Mall shows they sing live with backtrack, the stable voice is vinci, kyler, winston and marcus

You're spitting facts, Chuck. Some kept throwing hate at other idols, they forgot to look at themselves in the mirror. As A'tin myself, I can still remember those times na nilalait ang Mahalima. We all know how that feels as an avid fan, so bakit natin kailangang gawin sa iba? Parang mga batang nanghihingi ng candy sa kalaro dati, tapos ngayong sya na ang hinihingan ayaw nang mamigay......I hope y'all get what I mean, daig pa tayo ng mga ppop idols mismo😒
You can't even compare SB19 to Hori7on... because the hate on SB19 was nasty and based on anything but their talent and originality. That's why we call it hate. The questions raised against Hori7on were legit- you have standards in PPOP that differ from KPOP- and Hori7on was indeed doing lipsync a LOT- and when they did sing- well... is that even ANYTHING exceptional at all?
Whether right or wrong, the praise can be just as exaggerated as the hate.
If anything, questions on how well artists can perform are legit issues. No music critic will see them as hate.
ALL the big names in the music industry have critics- even Madonna and Britney Spears were called "lipsync idols" but they never complained because ANY QUESTION on one's credibility or talent is LEGIT in the business.
If no one even raises those standards, do you think the international community would even treat Hori7on seriously? A pandering community where everyone just throws flattery around is a lot, LOT worse than hate and criticism- I mean, look at SB19- the hate was what helped them work harder to prove themselves.

If you know SB19's history- the hate they got was judged as HATE even by music critics- not by over-sensitive fans who think that EVERY issue is hate.

Their success is P-pop’s success. I’m excited about their emergence. I hope they succeed in Korea and elsewhere. But I hope ABS-CBN will not forget their other groups and also give them equal attention.

Its a partnership with ABS CBN so any earnings from Hori7on most likely will be shared within this two companies so earnings nila will still be a part of Philippine economy at rightfully lang na may part ang MLD dahil MLD will train them, accomodate them while in SK and that costs money. It may have a base in the PH but isn't the company of SB19 from South Korea as well.
Yes I agree with you. Let them sing even its not yet perfectly done. What's important is that they get more confidence on stage while doing live performances.

I have a high respect talaga sa mga performers who can sing live lalo na yung sing and dance performances. I hope that once they were fully trained the management will let them show their full potential and talents.
Watch out on April 5. They will release an MV for their song 'Salamat'! It's a ballad song which they performed in Dream maker's finale and in their mall shows.
Give them time kasi hindi pa sila trained talaga in singing while dancing. Sa isang interview kasi if I remember right, sabi ng isang member na more on dancing pa lang sila. Kapag nasa South Korea na mahahati na daw 'yong training nila sa vocals and dancing. At sa recent mall shows nila, nagla-live na sila sa mga performances nila which is nakakatuwa.😊 Nag-e-effort naman 'yong mga bata kaya give them a chance guys...😉😄

Hi chuck. Thank you po for support sa Horizon. As far as i know they have a voice coach ever since the start of their journey as a Dream Maker. Makikita mo naman dun sa pinakita mong video na kumakanta sila, na may boses sila kasi may voice lesson po sila maliban sa dance and surely nasa plano na po yan ng management :) Salamasteh chucky👍🙏 Btw im an avid supporter as well of SB19 bro. Ilove the harmonization ng kanilang mga boses.
I think making them not sing live is actually one of their marketing strategy. I noticed that simula nung napansin kong parang sinasaway silang kumanta during their live streams at nung nagdadagdag sila paunti-unti ng mga bagong ipapakita each mall show.
Isipin nyo na lang, it's like showing cards one at a time. Kasi nga naman di ba, ang dami nilang naka-line up na show tapos di pa sila nagde-debut baka pag pinakita na lahat by the time na debut na talaga mawalan na ng gana mga tao, I'm not saying all but some may.
That's why with that in mind, I thought yun yung naisip nilang strat to keep the audience curious by showing new each time.
Although, the part that some of them are not fully ready yet is one factor pa rin.
But I think, if it's really their strat., it's a very effective one since they make the people curious and talk about the group while honing each of the members skills. It's like hitting two birds with one stone.

Same feels, akala ko ako lang, tama ka po. It's like a card game na unti unti lang pinipintahan. Tapos napaka lakas pala ng baraha mo. Mgt want their debut to be 'wow' feels na mapapa 'ay ganun pala sila' tayo na reaction kasi hindi nila pinapakita. And the boys as a young artist they just follow the instructions ng mgt.. cuz mgt knows what's best for them.

True. Kasi si Kim, hindi manlang nababanggit na nagra-rap pero he is good at it and nagbe beat box. Meron ding mga footages si Kim na kumakanta pero hindi na showcase. So yeah, strategy.
Wow that was a very objective reaction to these boys. Thank you for that Chuck. But if you can review some of their vids from their mall shows they're actually singing live. You can catch their real voices while doing the dance part & that was something. It may not be that stable yet 'coz they do need to train harder in SK but as you've said they are really promising. Give it some time for their talents to fully develop & you can say that Hori7on members are a force to be reckoned with.

In my opinion they really got voices but I think the management is afraid that they would mess up if they will go live. Singing while dancing is very hard maybe they have to go on more training . Marcus is a threater actor before. I think he stopped singing at the onset of puberty and he practiced another hobby which was dancing.

Like they said in their previous interviews... they have not started on voice lessons but dance lessons so far. Once they go to South Korea their training will be divided to singing and dancing.
As to Reyster he sang in his church... watch his old videos. Vinci is self taught singer and dancer. Marcus is a performer since he was little... on tv and and in theater. The rest have good voices just need proper training. What they have are raw talents! Let's support them all the way !

Hori7on is very good vocalists ❤ don't forget that they didn't have a proper training (like the strict korean way) before joining Dream maker. They did dream maker for only 4-5 months, then another few months before debuting! I don't blame the management to put them into lip sync, but I can hear that they are really improving their vocals while dancing through MR removed videos. Singing while dancing is REALLY hard and needs years of training to gain the strength to do it. ❤ I'll wait for that time ☺️
Other people or group see HORI7ON as Underdog. For me it doesent really matter if they are not sound as good as Stell of SB19. What really matters most is that they are the only PPOP group who catches my attention and interest with a KPOP style in terms of performance and visual coz HORI7ON got it all. And i believe that its a matter of hard work for them to be able to prove that they are not just a PPOP but a Global Group. First time to be a fan of a PPOP or KPOP. More power HORI7ON.❤❤❤

In one of their interviews, someone mentioned that right now, they are having dance training 12 hours a day, probably so that they'd be synchronized. They will undergo vocal training in Korea. I forgot which interview was it and who said it.

Yes since under korean ent sila, alam naman natin na iba talaga ang dancing skills ng kpop. Malinis at sharp sila gumalaw. For me di pa na achieve ng hori7on yun as of now, pero so far, napaka laki at bilis ng improvement nila. 🤍

HORI7ON has a new MV! It is called Sumayaw Sumunod. Kindly do a reaction video for it. There are 2 versions. One in Korean/Tagalog/English and another in Tagalog and English. The videos are different from each other.
What I don't understand about people who are hating is that, they don't understand the process first before they begin throwing hate. Haha or sadyang they just don't like the artists.
They are just more or less 6 months in the industry. About just 2 months performing as Hori7on. Hay naku na lang 🤦♀️
They are just simply threatened and hated the fact that they're getting so much love and support during their pre-debut stage. Just imagine the potential of already talented Jeromy and Marcus growing and improving in the next 2-3 years. These kids know how to grind and work for their dreams as well as the other Hori7on members. They will continue to nitpick on their voices and communication skills of some members bec. these are the only things that they can see that hori7on are lacking right now. If you notice, they don't say much on their charm, visuals, dance skills, fan support, and MV quality bec. they know that hori7on already got those and surely, once hori fans will clap back, they can't defend their idols who mostly lack these things. I wonder if their bias groups would even make a cut in Dream Maker if ever they joined that survival show with no professional training in singing and dancing. 🤔 PPOP rise lang sa mga bias idols nila pero ayaw nilang i-include ang Hori7on kahit mga Pinoy naman ang mga members. Tsk..

Oo nga. 2019 pa ako naging fan ng SB19 pero nagiging toxic na ang ibang fans. Di ko maintindihan bakit ang toxic nila lagi sa mga bagong salta. Puro compare ng compare.

Well for me I amazed to KYLER from the very start among them he really improves more from Dancing, he has a Deep Voice & so manly voice as well & guess what He can also Beatboxing (2K can do beatboxing) Plus a Kpop look Charisma ❤❤❤ All though I loved them all❤ Can't wait to mold them into a Singer as well

Jeromy - dance prodigy but was taught a little bit of singing in DM
Sabi ni Josh L. wla pa tlgang formal vocal training even in DM more cla sa dancing pero may vocal coaches that will guide them sa mission for the recordings baka ng mga kanta...pero they are still taught to dance and sing at the same time for developing stamina.

Bottom line is they're under trained which isn't the norm anymore in both countries. Even with proper ammunition, your soldiers will be dead on the first day when you send kids to the battleground. MLD underestimated our standards in live vocals. It works in Korea but not here. Is it really too much too ask for a live vocals? Anyway, I just saw a group singing live...as in live, and with harmonies, and they haven't even launched yet. Their management gave them enough preparation. That's what MLD should be doing.
hori7on hasnt been launched yet not until june. the orginal plan was right after dream maker they will fly to korea for training however due to public and fans demand they extended their stay here. giving back the support they got. and all these mall show are invitation not a plan.
w/c i think eventhough they are not fully trained yet, the very first thing you di is to showcase ur talent in your own country because they will be based in korea for many years. just saying

as they stayed in ph they are 100% focus on dance training but in korea they will be focusing vocal training. w/c i thinks it might have been good if vocal training happened in the ph we have so may excellent coaches but thats how it is.

Comparing q pre-debut group to a debut group is like comparing apples to oranges.

As one Hori7on fan told me just hours ago (she posted as an SB19 fan in another video- but hey... nothing wrong with that, right?) "Hori7on is so lucky" it was handled by a "Big Entertainment Company" and didn't have to "suffer the same struggles as SB19."
I almost had indigestion. But if you want to read my reply to that, you'd have to go to the 77th reply in that comment thread in CasualChuck's reaction video on Dash.
I think instead of "hate" Hori7on actually has a lot of doting fans who think that their "unprecedented" success is the biggest ever in the pop industry today. Most of the comments were from fans saying "Hori7on is ready for the world stage" or "should debut as soon as possible."
These comments trickled in even before Hori7on tried to prove they can sing live.
But wait- is there even anyone who CANNOT sing live? The question is- how WELL can you sing live- and WHOSE music you're singing, is it your own composition? After all, a TRUE artist writes and produces his own music, right?
If anything, these questions are far from hate- they're legit. Unless the "artist" is asking for SPECIAL treatment and want nothing but praises and compliments. Even bigger names like Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga are NOT entitled to tender loving care, you know.
In fact, correct me if I'm wrong- the disagreement Hori7on is getting is SO minimal it's almost invisible- which is stranger, isn't it- as other PPOP groups had MORE doubters upon debut.
On the contrary, Hori7on's success is so much celebrated in the comments it's like a landslide victory in the elections.
For a moment, I thought Hori7on had already won the Grammy's- or the Billboard. The fans were just so overwhelmingly... ecstatic.
As proof- compare Hori7on's "Dash" MV with Alamat's and BGYO's recent MVs.
Do you think Alamat and BGYO have LESS talent, skill, creativity, and authenticity? How come their MVs have SO MUCH FEWER VIEWS than Hori7on's whopping 1.6 MILLION views overnight?
So hate? If that is supposed to create sympathy for this group- I don't think we could even call it hate. I mean even Coldplay and Lady Gaga- authentic producers, composers, singers, and artists who have won multiple awards- have critics until now. So for a newbie group to have people complaining every now and then isn't hate.
I guess people just want a little sympathy and a "dash" of controversy to work in their favor.
SB19 received so much toxicity in their debut and pre-debut days that whatever criticism Hori7on received would be nothing but "twittering birds" in comparison.
Let's go back to that SB19 / Hori7on fan, saying "Hori7on is JUST SO LUCKY" because it was handled by a "Big Entertainment Company."

I don’t blame the members but more on the company such as abs cbn and the management team. It is very clear that abs cbn have their on bias and that’s horizon.
Horizon is indeed lucky because they have a connection with the big company such as abs cbn. Sb19 comes from a small company so both groups has different circumstances.
I will support sb19 and only sb19. Im not really into ppop or kpop group but if i like a boyband/girlband group i become a loyal member.

Now, don't give me those reasons na "bakit yung ibang group, specially SB19 nagla-live na kahit nung trainee palang sila? " kasi we all know that SB19 had been training for years, maliban pa dun yung nga experiences nila mag perform even before they train. While these guys are the total opposite. Very obvious yung pagiging mahiyain ng ibang members sa stage lalo na sa mga interviews. They don't even know each other before the show kaya they are still building their chemisty.
I am also an A'tin, pero it always piss me off whenever someone compare SB19 to a trainee like them, and impose that they should do this because SB do this. I know that they are the standard, pero ganun din naman ang nararamdaman natin pagkino compare and SB19 sa mga kpop groups diba??
These guys sing live with backtracks sa mga mall shows nila, kung clips at videos lang online yung titignan mo at di ka pupunta sa mga mall shows nila, di mo talaga yun mapapansin. Baby steps po muna tayo ah? They haven't even train for the vocals, sa Sokor pa daw yun according sa interview sa kanila. Lastly, wala pong "acceptable time to make mistakes" kasi kahit nga wala kang ginawang mali, sa ibang tao di parin yun acceptable 😀.

@@missamagda1887 yes po. I believe na sa dancing muna sila mas nagfo-focus habang nandito sila sa Pinas. Although sure naman ako na kahit papano nagpapractice yan sila sa vocals. Imagine, wala pang masyadong proper training yan sa vocals pero ganyan na, what more pa kaya pagmahasa yang mga yan. I can see naman na fast learner yung group at gusto talaga nilang mag improve kaya sana wag nating ipressure at madaliin. Let them take their time, mga bata pa naman mga yan (13 ang youngest)
At opo, ilo-launch sila as global pop group, di dahil ambisyoso ang management, kundi dahil they represent both the Philippines and SoKor. Bakit SoKor? kasi they are also under MLD entertainment at doon ang magiging main base nila. They represent both countries, and since wala naman tawag don, I think calling them as a global pop group is the safest term like Now United na galing sa iba't ibang bansa.
If I'm not mistaken, at first ang sabi magiging Kpop group yung malo-launch ng show, pero siguro may mga nagreklamo at narealize ng management na parang kakalimutan nila yung pagiging pilipino nung mga members kaya binago into global group. They are still Pinoy pero yung aesthetics, style, music, etc is base on kpop. Since doon nga sila ilo-lauch at magiging main base nila.

Mall shows. So far yung pinaka latest nila sa Starmills robinsons pampanga ang may sunod sunod na live singing. They still have backing track though. Please remember na trainees palang sila for 1 month as hori7on.
Although karamihan sa A'tins are still grounded, marami din A'tins na mahangin at mayabang. Yung feeling entitled na parang sila yung sikat eh ang humble ng SB19 members. Bkit yung fans (some) ang yumabang?
I think they need to focus on training their vocals, we filipinos are not used to lypsync as majority of our singers in PH eat cds. SB 19 put in a good 3 to 4 years of training in singing and dancing, and I know to this day they still continue with their voice lessons. I think we just have to give Horizon time to develop their singing abilities.
I think they will still undergo training in Korea. Maybe that is why they are not yet allowed to sing live. Just my opinion.

I mean if you didn't watch the whole show you probably won't know how good they are at singing. most of them are stable and good at singing ang problma lang talaga sa karamihan ng trainees non ay dancing but all of them did well after training. Mahirap pati ang live singing habang intense ang choreo so give them a chance to do better, ilang months palang naman silang nakakareceive ng proper training.
People should also understand na di pa sila nagdedebut. They will undergo training pa sa Korea. Kaya I understand the Management's decision sa paglilip sync ng Hori7on sa ngayon.
They don't sing live because they haven't debuted yet. They are still TRAINEE.
