This was a perfect message for me today. TY Pastor for sharing your wisdom. I just divorced after 22-years of marriage and have felt a burden of regret which has affected my heart & relationship with God. I’m trusting God will reveal his purpose again for me & heal the pain in my heart.
Praying you will find and reclaim Gods peace in your situation. Remember the reason why you had to go through with the divorce. I doubt it was frivolous. I have found for myself that if I didn’t HAVE TO do a thing, especially a hard thing, that I COULD NOT do it. There are many days and decisions we have to make to get to a divorce and we could have stopped them (presumably). The fact that you could do it to me means you had to. Try to remove the cloak of regret and know that God still sings over you.
John, I am very grateful for your heart and your gift of teaching. This is a beautifully broken community and I am at very much at home here. Thank you all!
Again and again! God brings tender hope when we most need it. I got into bed last night reviewing my day; all I could feel was regret over not being better/enough, etc, etc. “what might have been.” I recognized this morning that was not the voice of my Comforter. And then I journeyed with John…and I felt his heart and spirit; and heard my Father telling me to come home! So very grateful for all of you.
Gosh, thanks John. Thank you for your deep teaching. Boy do I need this-to not disregard God, the one who is my strength. Also, laughed out loud at Nancy not being attracted to men who are well built-priceless!!
Loved your talk this morning. So many uses of he word "home": home run, homely, homebound, homegrown, homemaker, homegrown, etc. but, the best use of the word is as you pointed out... "coming home." May we always be traveling the path to HOME!
So fantastic and profound. This whole series has been amazing and the insights into Job and Samson are fantastic. I wonder if in the future you would consider doing a series on Bible characters like you’re doing with Job and Samson. Thanks always so much.
My new favorite. This one hit me deep. I know the waiting for the one to come home (and the fear of losing a sweet pup😢) Loved this so much. Thank you 🙏🏼♥️
Powerful and Beautiful message, "We don't have to live in regret," but can always "Come Home". The devotionals at Become New are great resources for additional reading. I recently bought the book "Soul Whisperer" by Daniel Austin Napier that you referenced. It was inspiring and reached out and connected and met Daniel Napier. He has become a good friend. Recently ordered the book, "Wandering in Darkness" by Eleanor Stump. Thanks for the devotionals and the recommended readings. Thank you and keep up the great work team at Become New.
Good morning☀️ hugs just seems appropriate today for some reason, hugs, no regrets~don’t wait til God leaves, it’s all good, just come home. Get filled with the peace of God, where we all unite. Love love love it here, fill me up Lord. ❤️🩹🥰💕🍃
