I like this. It was a good intro to the 4 broad types of psychotherapy. Now I'm curious about the details behind each one. I think that all of them, broadly speaking, are relevant to my life, and I think that everyone can benefit from psychotherapy. Simply talking with people can be therapeutic, but talking with a professional could be life changing. It seems our entire life is mental (i.e intellectual) and about problem-solving.
@@xoxCatGurLxox You make it seem like good sound quality didn't exist 5 years ago (especially considering how drastic the intro is to the speech). Just saying they could've been closer in volume and it'd be a more professional video :p
A recent innovation in psychotherapy is the Ambivalence Based Approach of Sandor Grau ["A Practitioner's Guide to What Works in Modern Psychotherapy"]. It seems to be a great non-cultish vaguely Freudian biological approach focusing on the inherently conflicting nature of our desires.
Very useful intro video, thank you for this. To the point and still informational.
short and sweet, factually correct thanks for this, I look forward to further analysis (sic) on these modalities.
