I don't remember my previous life, and I've never had an NDE (that I recall). Nevertheless, I've heard many times, by near death experiencers and Others, that once you leave your body, no one can harm you...regardless how treacherous the journey is. Energy cannot be destroyed...Only transformed. Thanks all the same for this enlightening material! Very interesting!
P.S. -- If you find yourself in a "bad" place, call out for God...or Jesus...or Allah...or Vishnu...And they will come to your Rescue! Blessings to All!

The narration is enthralling, and the images are just right to help my imagination. You seem to do it effortlessly which is awesome.
I was intrigued enough to look into my country on the subject. Apparently, even if you fail the judgement, which takes 35 days, and are sent to hell, there are three more judgements (100-days, 2-years, and 3-years after death) for entering nirvana. Families in this world support the process through sutras chanted by the monks. It worries me as it reminds me of my numerous exams. I wish to convert to Tibetan Buddhism🥲. Thank you again for another outstanding content.

Seriously, I love these two books. I have read them several times. I think your analysis of both are excellent, as always with all books on your program. I may add there might another one that may be done here in the 21st century called"The Comedy at Funerals," (before and after). Of course to write such a novel, one has to understand the culture one was raised in and which faith, or no faith was brought in. Funeral costs are a racket nowadays. Some people can't afford funeral costs due to economics. Especially if people in a community are fighting over lines of property at a graveyard for 40 years. Communities and families fall short these days. Trusts, wills, and death. I have seen it all fussing before funerals for years and even at funerals staring one another down and pretending so spiritual. I also seen fights at a funeral and people had to be pulled apart.(lol) I just don't go to funerals any longer and that is my choice to keep my sanity. NARCISSISM runs with wild horses of powers of greed at all levels of of our society. Thank you this made my day and happily gave me new ideas to contemplate on. Mmmm

You mention that these books of the dead are a mirror of the conscious world, but I have often thought throughout life, what if this reality - our conscious world - IS already the afterlife? The books talk about things we must overcome or tests to achieve nirvana or a good place in the afterlife, but the same can be said about life itself. So how can we know for sure we are all not already in the afterlife and to become aware of this is the test we need to remain focussed on in order not to be fooled in this life/afterlife? I suppose I speak more so in regards to the Tibetan Book of the Dead.

So the thing I don't get is if someone doesn't recognize that the good and evil are their own minds and they reincarnate (according to the tibetan book of the dead)... Doesn't that mean everything that's going on currently is all in one mind? Is everybody else just in my mind and I'm just not aware?.. what happens if someone realizes that? Does it mean I can finally move on? Anyone ever feel dead while being alive? I guess I'm asking my mind that question....

Maybe there it's after life I don't know, nobody came back to prove it, but maybe not, maybe these are all story's humanity made to make us more comfortable with non-existence, to calm our mind and give us hope, even if it's a fairy tail.

the weighing of the heart: its not that much about good and bad, what does a feather represent, weight, means how much weight is on our heart, so what is the weight, traumas/sorrows/unconcious blockades/thoughts of revenge/greed for things or circumstances we did not get on a material plane, these all are our weights, its a extreme symbology because a feather literal weighs nothing, means as long as we have those problems and our heart is not clean/purified/like children without sorrow, there is no entrance for a heaven.
Family members guiding someone sounds romantic but is some big nonsense, without body who is your brother, everyone i guess...also lot of wrong metaphysic problems, what is it which undergoes rebirth, a subtle body, but obvious and logicaly this body can change because without change it could not attain anything and a journey would be without purpose, so than it is the same like gross matter, constantly changing, so what are we than? few schools would say pure unchanging spirit, like advaita and so on, but than we have the mental duality of "we are pure spirit, so when we are not the constant changing world also than there are two things".
Conciousness is another problem, very famous used from everyone now but in reality there are states of no conciousness, so it cannot be the real deal.
Than we have the hyrarchy thinking of lower and higher rebirths, there is no such ugly being as a modern human so living as a wild bear in a forrest or snail looks more precious than a being possibly living 80 years in 24/7 confused, anxious and perverted state.
Also no person in the world ever could describe those fency words like moksha/nirvana, lot of talks and words but its all contradicting, liberated from what? life? life is sinus curve up and down, so if you are in a hospital bed and the gadget shows no movement anymore of the curve and shows a zero line with a beep, it means dead, the same way people think of nirvana, karma means action, its not some force or hidden agent giving you goodies or punishement, but everything is moving/action forever and ever, so you cant escape life itself, you cant escape karma, this would mean inaction which is not possible, means there is no death and there is no liberation from life/action.....

    Pythagoras was murdered
    Socrates was murdered
Plato was clever he hid what he learnt from Egypt. In the Republic he tells what he learnt in the simple story of the Cave.
Simply, the cave with its shadows represents " normal " consciousness, still the mind and rise up into the light of consciousness. Look at it like this ( Riemannian geometry ) shadow is 3rd dimensional, light is 4th dimensional ( Klein bottle ). Just as the brain receives sight, sound, smell, touch and taste, it also receives consciousness. If you still your shadow consciousness, your awareness will rise up above you and shine down into you. This you can experience yourself, words are for vain fools that believe that They can work it out. Still the fool and you will experience the greater consciousness. Believe nothing No matter who has said it No matter where you have read it If you cannot prove it for yourself Not by the spoken nor written word Only by personal experience.

@@Fiction_Beast I suggest you read some more as there are visable gaps in you knowledge of the region. If you were doing a video about a Chinese book and you called China part of England I hope someone would say someone would say something about that.
