Hi Mike I run ecommerce business and just finished reading your book all I could say it was amazing and gave me a different prospective on running my business. I'd like to ask you how do you identify the pain points and problems in any market. DO you have a specific strategy. A lot of people just say to call over 50 of your ideal customers and speak on the phone to identify their problems. With social media is there another way maybe.
Hey man, good question. So first of all you need to dive deep into your niche and start looking at the content and groups and communities that they're a part of. Don't promote yourself in the groups, just listen. Read what the common questions are and see what people are searching for. Get your current customers on the phone and start to send regular emails to them (once every 3 months or so) asking "what are you working on? What are you struggling with? What are your goals?" The more you ask the more you'll see. Finally, I like to go over my most common questions and just pay attention to my emails seeing what people are asking.
Great video, Mike, thank you. I match with you. Experience AND knowledge are the fundamentals. BOTH. For example : *riding bycicle.* You can have the knowledge but you need the experience. Also the inverse : to have experience , previously you need to know how to ride the bycicle. Regards from México City.
Hey Mike, Killer video... Off to watch the in-depth vid you mentioned. I have not done this before, for a client but feel that bit more confident with this knowledge. Clients know what they want when they hear it so a bad delivery = ££0, So, Get that NEICH !... On another point, Where did you get those cool looking wall tiles from that surround your board of tricks??? been looking to fill a main wall in my office with something similar. Thanks
Hey Sell Your Service I have two big questions that I want to ask, first I'm trying to doing email marketing and offer it to businesses as a service, and what I want to offer in that service is send advertised emails to my email list so that people can buy the businesses products. But I was just wondering if I could even do a service like that, and charge 3k a month for it like a subscription? And If I can't offer my services like that can you please explain how please, and for my second question I forgot lol sorry so when I remember I'll just recomment Also I hope you read this and reply because your answer will really help me out thanks.
Hey mate, you’re right! For a $25k project, you can stipulate $$’s upfront to the client to get started today on the project and spread the rest over the remaining 11 months for a 12 month project. As an example, pay $8.5k upfront with remaining $16.5k spread across 11 months at $1.5k p/m. Or whatever way you want to calculate it. Hope that helps mate.
Hey man. It can do - doesn't have to though. You can structure it any way you like. Usually we'll take something like 30% - 50% upfront and then take further payments as the project gets completed. Some packages are absolutely spread over 12 months. My advice would be to ask the customer how they want to pay.
Hi Mike thx so much for your valuable content. Is it possible to make an offer to an Email Ecom client by way of performance? I mean per clicks on CTAs for example? And what software would you recommend for that to be made possible? Sort of like pay per lead. I’m advocating this so that it makes it easier for the clients to get on board. Thank you
Absolutely 100%. The process works for pricing all services. In fact I have a video coming out later today talking about setting pricing for copyeriting services too
Gold. It really frustrates me that people don't seem to get the idea that "niching down" is how you win.
Hahahaha, absolutely. It's the #1 question I ask people - "what's your niche?" So important
People were complaining about a book for ¢.99 😂

Glad you think so! Thanks for the comment
Figure out the minimum size of business to approach. Also whether they already do digital advertising.
Sounds good.

Do you have a video about what to say/ how to handle sales objections like "I am not ready to invest.." when you are selling your services?
Great suggestion - more coming soon

Thanks for your valuable video, I wanted to know if I want to email marketing to clients should I need my own leads or can I get from them plz guide
Is your question, if you want to sell email marketing to clients, do you need to also generate them email leads?
What should be the exact deliverables when offering email marketing services? Scope of work?
Well what's the problem that you're solving?

Does your 25 k price point spread out over a 12 month period like a retainer? 12 month contract?

You can do, but without a solid niche, function and process I wouldn't do it. Unless you're over $1M a year I would stick with value based pricing
Is that 25 grand per month or year?👀
Can this advice be applied to if for example i have a online marketing business and i offer email marketing as a service?
Absolutely 100%. The process works for pricing all services. In fact I have a video coming out later today talking about setting pricing for copyeriting services too
I charge $3500.
For what exactly?
I love this prices 😂 President in my country don't earn that much per year and I'm from Europe 😂😂😂😂
Sounds like they need a raise!
@@SellYourServiceYou mean pay cut 😂😂😂 US prices are just ridiculous.
