This is THE best video aside from the other similar no talking one. I have been slingshotting for about a year now and I followed your video and instantly starting hitting my target !
That's a strong endorsement. I haven't shot one since I was a kid and never properly learned how to aim. Can't wait to see how much fun it'll be with a bit of accuracy!
He's referring to "Slingshotsniper TR", the Turkish guy living in Germany. In my many years in slingshooting, including as Assistant Chief to Chief AJ, head of the National Slingshot Association, 2nd iteration, I've NEVER seen such clear and comprehensive tutorials as his. The Turk is tops for anyone serious about the art of slingshooting. And as mentioned, all done without speaking.
I've been shooting catapult for years. This in my opinion is the only video you need. Perfect explanation. Very sensible info. No fancy gobbledegook. Top job bro.
@@jamesbrose353 what are you talking about? Catapult definition . Elastic band strung between two prongs to catapult something into the air. As in its action. Something slung into the air was catapulted. So please explain your comment?
You made me an instant subscriber after watching this video. I've been struggling so much starting to learn the slingshot. I will try this out. Thank you again!
Concise, easy to understand, perfect for me as someone who never even held a slingshot before today. Showed me what I was doing wrong and affirmed what I was doing right. Thank you!
Spot on, fella. Just started getting into catty hunting, a lot of good vids on here, but are a bit too complicated for a beginner like me. This is perfect. Nice n simple. You’ve helped me loads with this mate. Much appreciated! 👍
First time ever touching a slingshot here. I bought one with 1500 clay shot and an extra strap in Walmart since it was $20 total. I was able to get relatively consistent shots in the area of my 1ft wide target from about 60-80ft by feeling it out, but your tips have me consistently hitting many times in a row. Even when I do miss, its by inches rather than feet now. Thanks for the help! I figure another skill under my belt is always good even if I initially bought this for fun.
I got a slingshot /catapult for Christmas with a hundred clay 9MM balls the other day I was in the back yard {garden} and was talking to the neighbor he had a slingshot with him and we talked about it and it got my interest peaked I got out one of my folding 18” X 24” folding firearm targets and was able to hit it from about 20’ away. Watched your video and am thinking I can hit much smaller targets from farther away soon. I have ordered more clay ball ammo to practice. Enjoyed the video
Thanks for this lesson because ive been changing Cattys for a long time and thought i was just having good days and bad days but ill pay attention to my fork gaps Now and find the best catty out of the collection i use every day . This is so helpful thank you Joefe i can now put my finger on my best shot catty for me'' very very helpful
Watched many videos about shooting slingshot. This is far the best video. Especially about changing anchor points when shooting different size slingshots. Also, I totally agree about when you say some days you just can't hit targets. Just stop and try again next day. Thank you.
This moving the anchor point this and keeping he sight picture is perfect !!!! Very best slingshot aiming advice I've ever heard. I know it's good because I know it will work even B4 I try it. I subscribed as a thanks.
been using sling shot since 1950's- now at 70 I still like to shoot- but use weaker bands- great fun plinking daily while being safer on walks with 1/2 steel balls to despatch rattle snakes-
Hello Joefe, congratulations on the beautiful explanation, it is people like you who encourage us to continue practicing our passion for sport. 🇧🇷🤜🤛👏👏👏
Thanks for putting this up, starting practice again after arthritis flare up. I always seem to group in the upper right quadrant of my targets, I think it’s time to just stick a can on top of the wood store and try to hit that bloody thing instead of worrying where I am on a rifle target lol 😆
Nice video!!! There sure is a lot of techniques to practice Technique and practice I like it Something so symple is so hard to master But simply fun THANK you for sharing
@@Joefeslingshot Dude, i just got a sling shot and haven't shot one it 45 years or longer. I put a can out at 30 feet and hit it 3 for 3 times with ease. I can't wait to get time for some serious distance. You are awesome my friend. I never would have figured these sights out if i didn't watch your video!🥰🥰👍
Very informative, although I was spending too much time trying to figure if you shoot from the left or right, and your watch which kept changing sides would suggest the left. Unless you wear your watch on the right wrist lol !
Great video, clear instruction. I noticed at 4:13 you broke your own rule by moving your right hand after releasing the shot. i'm off out to do some practicin'. Thanks for sharing. Keep up the good work.
The way you line up the elbow-arms is the same way you’d shoot a bow. Release also similar. Letting go and not forcing Moving cheek place si not the way you’d do in a bow, though. You woul not change the T of your arms and bow
