This was the most helpful video that I watched to replace the mirror on my Mustang GT. There are a few things I would add: 1) to disconnect the wiring harness of the mirror inside of the door, I used a tiny screwdriver to lift a clip off the nub of the mirror connector. This has to be done blindly. I'm not sure how the harness came undone in his video without this - just lucky I guess. Wish I could upload some pics, but looks like youtube doesn't support that. 2) I left the door cable attached to the door panel and didn't fully remove it after seeing a number of videos of folks screwing up the connector permanently. I just maneuvered the panel out of the way and rested it on something to take the pressure off the cable. 3) I was unable to insert the body clip of the new mirror wiring harness into a hole in the door interior, so the wiring harness is a little loose in there - there just wasn't enough space and I couldn't get the leverage I needed. Hopefully, it doesn't create a noise issue. 4) Keep the 10mm bolts of the door panel separate from the mirror. They are slightly different lengths and I assumed the longer bolts were for the mirror, but couldn't find any information on the web about it. 5) An allen wrench worked well as a hook to pull off the panel behind the door handle. 6) The project took me a few hours, with probably an hour to disconnect the mirror's wiring harness, but I was pretty careful about the work - saw too many videos where people messed up their car. Good luck!
