After the rise of their first dictator in the 70s, Siaka Stevens the previously strong institution began to fall apart and by their 90s the growing poverty and discontent led to the first and only conflict which was the Civl war. I wonder what other conflicts you are talking about because there's only been one in Sierra Leone.
