Michael Emerson was brilliant in this show. I'm grateful they didn't kill him off like the was going to in season 3. He was only to be in couple of episodes and die.
Oh man, I've been waiting so long to see your reaction to this episode. I agree with most everyone that The Constant is the objectively best episode of the show. But Dr. Linus is my FAVORITE episode. The parallel between the two Bens is incredible. On the island, he was a man who gave up everything to maintain his power, even his own daughter, and then lost it. And in the sideways, he had the choice once again, he chose to sacrifice his power to save his daughter. From where we first met him in season 2 where he was such a magnificent slimy bastard to where we see him here in this episode where he finally redeems himself is such a journey. And the line "He's the only one who'll have me" gets me every time.
Don't get me wrong I love the Constant but honestly I think it's a bit overrated, it's definitely not my favorite episode, I don't think I would even put it in my top 10, I think all of Ben's episodes and Locke's (maybe not Further Instructions even though I do like it) are better then The Constant but that's just my opinion.

WRONG -- it is ALWAYS about the island -- all through out the series it has been about protecting the island -- my god, that is the whole conflict between jacob and mib and the whole point of the candidates , to find a substitute to protect the island -- so yes, "what about you" is the perfect answer -- it gives Ben a chance to make a choice -- sacrifice everything for the island or put his own needs first
I really want them to do that too! It would be a great transition from Lost! I would love to hear their thoughts, theories and of course reactions to the characters and moments! Not many have reacted to it and I would love to see more!
It's now Sunday and I can't find it either. Youre the first person I've seen ask where it is. I havent seen either if the crew has mentioned anywhere why it wasnt uploaded
@@ItssDevv I just checked their latest lost uploads, and it looks like 6x6 and 6x7 were uploaded on the same day for some reason. So I think you're right, 6x7 was supposed to be uploaded 2 days ago, but it was uploaded a week early for some reason.
the only thing i’m questioning in the sideways is the fact that Alex said her mom is working two jobs and can’t afford college. isn’t Danielle a scientist?
This episode has made me root for Ben from now on. Seems like Jacob and MiB are just 2 trickster gods toying with mortals to win their little game. They don't even care about the island at all
I'm not sure Survivor is their thing, but it's so underrated as a legit great tv show. Very compelling with strategy that gets pretty damn galaxy brain sometimes.
