To truly estimate a plants power, u have to also factor in their usefulness ( laser beam can penetrate down all the zombies on that lane but ultomato is single target) and their powers too, as well as when u unlock those plants and their sun cost. However, I must admit this video is pretty accurate if u only factor in just their basic attacks alone

What's weird is that could be a viable strategy. What alot of th pvz2 content on RUclips fails to understand Is that different plants have different usage and different abilities Its not all about damage people its about what these plants can do with the other plants on the lawn
Maybe a better comparison would’ve been Shadow Peashooter, that has another piercing laser when powered up, but this one slows zombies too, and will one shot zombies if they step on it
