Hi this is an amazing video series, thanks for that, could you please, kindly tell me how I can add controller assitance as in my Machine expert software it said not listed thanks
Hi there! In order to add the controller assistant you must use the software that you used to install machine expert. You can select all the different add ons there.
Hi Leandro. I have all my programs for m241, but this time we have to use several 221. It’s there any way to import the programs I have from machine expert to the basic version?
Hi Guillermo! We usually migrate the M221 into the software of the M241. I have never downgrade the code and when i needed it i start from scratch but....if you code does not have any FB outside the standard and the project was made in LD or FBD you can try to convert it to Instruction List then copy and paste the code in the M221 software then you will manually need to assign the variables names... again I have never tried it... and i just come up with that idea...
Nice video Mr Leandro, made me save a lot of time. I've already made all the program for the m221 and had to use the m241, 'cuz the 1st one didn't have the web server application lol. Just in case, do you have any video on how to start with the webserver on the m241? Best regards
Hi NelsonGCR! I am planning the topics related to the Visualization in Machine Expert at the moment but it is going to take some time. I believe probably end of May. In the meantime you can check the next Faq: www.se.com/in/en/faqs/FAQ000191672/
@LeTomas AHUMADA those are pretty good news! Looking forward to see that tutorial. And thank you for that link you've sent. I have checked it out and found that I'm doing pretty much alright with the configuration. But still I have a problem with the IP on the simulation.... Everytime the simulation runs, at the ethernet tab appears a different IP (on the right at the "Actual Configuration") from the one that I've setted up (on the left "Configured Parameters") and all the configuration just changes (even the webvisualization protocol gets dissabled) and just don't know what to do. It is necessary to have the physical device to test this? Or to buy the full license? (I'm using the test period one)... Sorry for all the questions hahah it's just that idk where else to ask.
@@NelsonGCR as far as I know the webvisualization runs on the real plc so you will need it, regarding the license it will no be necessary. To check the visualization once you are online/simulation in machine expert without license (if i am not wrong). If you need further assistance you can always contact the technical support team in your country: www.se.com/ww/en/work/support/country-selector/contact-us.jsp
