I actually have experience crafting a 2H sword. Have you done it following the Best Ancient Weapon table? You need to emblem at Mythic rank, then master craft to Ancient. This step is unique for the 2H sword I think.
As a new player, I'd recommend finding a level 220+ account to play. This way, you can enjoy high-level content in the game from the start. If you were to start from scratch now, it would likely take at least a year just to level up.

i just start 9 month ago. if u want play game for fun, yes it's worth it. especially when u meet new friend in the game and play boss together
