    Is the same with a service just changing the msg file for a srv one?

    I've tried your process, but in my case, the bridge is not building. I have installed the bridge (sudo apt install ros-dashing-ros1-bridge
    ), it's running but it's not allowing custom messages. could you please guide me on that? thanx!
