I agree a special edition bike like that could be worth more if you don’t change the specialty stuff . Maybe just enhance a few things. Or even flip it for another that may already have some of the upgrades your looking for

aaronkcmo is right. Bad idea to customize a "special" bike. Clean and service the motorcycle, then flip it. You said you got a deal. Best to make a deal, then buy a bike that fits your size and skill level. I have a 2011 Road Glide Custom, but i worked my way up from a smaller 750cc. , with lots of parking lot practice.
