Chris, to be honest I still can't believe those games either. It's been talked about, given what Pitt's offense was the last two years, there is no way they come back from either of those deficits with the prior offensive coaching staff they had. It goes beyond that, ESPN put out a stat after the WVU game where I think Pitt was 0-72 from 2005-23 when they were down by double digits going into the fourth quarter and so far in 2024, 2-0. I said this before on here, you definitely do not want to make that a habit, especially going into conference play, but it doesn't happen for this team. Before the Cincinnati game, I don't even know the last time they came back from a double digit deficit in the fourth quarter.
I predicted PItt going into the month of October 4-0. Pitt will finish 9-3 this season.
