I second this! Something I've been missing is a decent, consistent diffusion test where the only thing that changes is the actual diffusion material. The different "frosts" and so on. Love the video, btw!
Thanks Dave, great stuff! I found your channel today while looking for info on clamps and lighting trusses and ended up sitting through all 56 episodes. Your style, content, production value and humor kept it fun and entertaining (especially @ 1.5x) It looks looks like you've come a long way since your days of over-under chord wrapping . Keep em coming!
Todd MacDonald yea, a lot of it for me is getting in the research from the pros, books, online, etc. the style is mainly inspired by filmriot. But I feel I’m starting to come into my own. thanks for binging!
thanks for all your work. i really like your channel. but can you change the way you tie down that mobo combo? it freaks me out because i fear the plate would cut the rope under high tension. we use ropes with carabiners instead. i think it‘s faster and safer that way.
This video didn't show up in my subscription feed. I wish youtube would show me everything and let me decide what not to watch. My video on Monday got featured on No Film School, that was awesome.
To the point and short! I have learned a lot from your tips! Thanks!
Dude... you slay me. Big props for taking the joke to it's extreme commitment.
Solid stuff as always Dave! Would love to someday see a full diffusion breakdown. So many different materials/strengths I probably don’t know about.
DSLR Video Shooter oh yea. Honestly I can’t wait to buy some sheets and do some side by sides
Can't wait to get the lowdown!

And I 3rd #Selfish :)
Lee filters website has an amazing comparison video tool with all of their diffusions. highly recommended.
Great info as always, and enjoyed the added sandwich humor!
Thumbs up for eating the sandwich !ur awesome!🙌🎥
These episodes are awesome resources for learning. Thank you!
I just bingewatched every single episode, loving it! Can't wait for more. :D Love your style!
Love your stuff. Educational and funny. Keep it up!
Sandwiching silks and nets (quite fragile) between solids also helps protects them during travel (especially if you don’t have a cart) great tip!
the film riot of gripping

Funny....I almost said "Ryan C. would be honored" which I bet he is.
Plz make videos on diffusion and different materials such as honeycomb and egg crate etc
if you told me you were Ryan Gosling's cousin I would say definitely see the family resemblance! thanks for a fantastic channel......loads learnt
I’m here yallll
I was watching and hoping you would actually make that sandwich and try it. I was not disappointed.
What's the best way to transport a silk sandwich? Do you have a 2'x3' case? Or do you just tie it all together?
Great job Dave you got the juice. Give this man a beer right now don't make him wait. lol
Dual Phoenix how’d you know I was drinkin?
I didn't i just know you rocked that episode :-)
Dual Phoenix well done
Why would you use a silk instead of lets say 216 or a different type of diffusion?
Great stuff as always. Hitting the smaller, but very useful stuff that others don't mention.
But for crying out loud use real cheese next time! 😉
Ahahaha
Great episode!
Man that sandwich looked gross. Tomatoes. Yuck!
You should do how to make a hammock in the back of a grip truck.
Jon Carson hahaha you know the funny thing is, I don’t even own one. I should look around
lol yeah see if a rental house would let you barrow a truck for an hour or 2
