Looking forward to you speaking about character cards. The text was vague on points value and confusing on lance limits. Are you only allowed one character per mech, lance, or side? They buried this answer under a pile of confusing technobabble in the rulebook.
Im totally new in this. I just tried out Paradoxes Battletech game, and its fckin awesome. I really want to get inside this game, but i feel that its gona take me a while to understand this. Right now, everything is new for me. Any suggestion about where to start to understand the universe?
Oops...sorry Hunterhawk. I meant to send *this* link. Cranky Old Gamer did his homework on that question. ruclips.net/video/9EevIE2kXGk/видео.html TLDR: It's a big universe. You can find almost anything about it on Sarna.net, but there's thousands of hours to read through unless you search something specific. The guys on the official "game of armored combat" forum are really helpful too. If you know which faction you wanna learn about then the source books are your best shot; GrimDark's videos are the next best thing. DFA games and Helcarex are great at showing how to use your individual 'mechs. Hope it helps.
any one know if they are going to restock the boxset that has the 12 mechs? I can only find them for $150 becuse they are out of stock in catalyst website
@@vampireboy84 sweet. I just checked on Amazon. still $199-$215. will have to get it from the main website than. if I can convince the wife lol money is still tight for us.
Just got this and the small starter in the mail yesterday after 3 months of internal debate. Time to work my way through this playlist, thanks Fritz.
07:37. No love for lasers? They're good against both infantry and vehicles!
I want to get into this game but I’d only want to do it with the combined arms aspect.
For that you need the full rulebook.

This is a great and helpful series, thanks! Is there a Battlemaster video, though?

Sarna.net
The beginning is always the best place to start imo
I have the new boxed set but do not recognize those plastic mechs. Are those from the new starter box set?
Yes they are

If you mean the box set with 8 mechs it has just been restocked on the catalyst website a few days ago.
