I love this idea of reimagining how segment displays could look. It challenges your preconceptions. I'm so familiar with how they look now, I hadn't really ever reconsidered their design and how they could look differently. Inspires me to make my own segment display font and actually put it together on a custom PCB. Would be a fun project.
see, it defently looks cool, but i find it hard to read, like if i saw for example a microwave with this kind of display, i would need to stare at it for a solid min or so to figure out what it says
why did I think this was gonna be a compilation of multiple segmented displays starting from 0 and up to 12 so like it would first be a 0-segment display and then a 1-segment display and then a 2-segment display and so on lol
The seven looks _ugly_ But why not make this half height ( i need color codes ) to apply the _better_ half height seven, turn all segments in the down-right part (idk what's that called) and then put all of the horizontal lines.

Tbf it’s quite a bit better than many other displays out there that try to fit as much functionality into as little segments as possible
