Andy Woods - Soteriology 19: OSAS & John

Dr. Andrew Woods from Chafer Theological Seminary gives a lengthy and very complete course that deals with soteriology and takes the time to rebut all the arguments against the doctrine of eternal security, also known as OSAS (Once Saved, Always Saved). I feel it is important to get this information out, as there is so much misinformation and poor understanding of what the true grace of Jesus Christ actually implies. My whole life I never found a teacher that taught like Andy Woods does. It's terrible when you are not grounded in correct Biblical studies, so much confusion, but God is not the author of confusion, thanks be to God for leading me to these teachings I'm finally grounded in proper biblical truths. I liked the part where Dr. Woods said, "The Bible is like a kaleidoscope in their heads," speaking of the conflicting opinions held on the doctrine of salvation in the Christian church. Most Protestants are very eager to proclaim salvation by faith alone but then they say "but" and add all kinds of conditions to it. We have not fully broken off of Catholic teaching it seems.

I really loving these teachings they are renewing my mind thank you Jesus! What I was thinking was someone could transcribe these teachings on soteriology and make a book like the book on 2nd Thessalonians on departure not a big one just a good book so someone curious about what the Bible says about salvation would be able to pick it up and we go through it in a day or so and be blessed Andy if you're out there I hope you can pray about that

those 2 wrong views damaged me horribly. One really teaches the other usually. Its all man based. Nothing has to do with what Jesus did, but what we do. We borrow the Holy Spirit to do good. NONSENSE

Yikes. I am under OSAS belief but did he just say there are 48 problem passages (lost of salvation) and only 13 for faith alone. I can't wait to finish this series.

Really enjoying Andy’s teaching..but concerning perseverance..John MacArthur used to say constantly..”I could lose my Salvation I would and so would you “so not sure why Andy would say this about Calvinism..
