Russia has a strategy of attrition, the Ukraine and its NATO masters pursue a PR strategy. It kinda works. Most NPC's here in the west still think the Ukraine is winning and should be supported still.

What is important is DELETING as many Ukrainian soldiers as possible, and the loss rate has been consistently in the Russian's favor. Well Sersky’s been using the nationalist battalions as combat units instead of as blocking units, & they don’t like it at all. In a way this could go all the way back to when Zelensky was elected on a peace with Russia platform. Zelensky made one try at enforcing Minsk & the Azovs openly & publically threatened his life if he did so, leading to Zelensky flip flopping 180 degrees policy wise overnight. I was getting the feeling maybe Sersky was putting the nationalists units into combat to weaken them numbers wise, so a political solution could be found later on. But it seems the ‘powers that be’ don’t like the geographic realities of not using the nationalist units in blocking operations, which can be seen along much of the frontline.
Your analysis is quite plausible. I still see the imminent return of Poroshenko with Zalushney as his PM or similar senior position. Both have support of the West Ukrainian Banderites.
Your comment is correct. Zelensky initially tried to do what was best for the people of Ukraine and Russia. Upon his life being threatened, he should have resign with statement Ukraine is too corrupt for me to govern. Maybe he had that thought and he was threatened with death if he resigned. Whatever the case, Zelensky clearly has been a great actor as leader of Ukraine while not being seen as an obvious puppet of those who are really running the show which is NATO/EU/Ukrainian Nationalists who prefer other Ukrainians sacrifice their lives for their cause instead their lives. Practically all the wealthy or politically connected in Ukraine got their men exempted or out of Ukraine when war started. We all need to feel sorry for the average Ukrainian citizen who has duped into supporting this totally unnecessary proxy war.

The Ukrainians had no strategic reserves so they moved operational reserves to the North. That means any breakthrough in the South is now impossible to stop and both they and the Russians know that. It is the reason the Russians opened the Northern offensive in the manner they did, starting in one place and rolling the offensive laterally across the front over a few weeks.
