I tried the recipe and served this Champurrado to friends and family and it has drawn so much accolade and celebration. My family has a new tradition that we have made part of our tradition. EVERYONE loves the video's lovely Grandmother's Champurrado. "The best I have ever had" is always in the conversation, credit is always conveyed and attributed to your family, may I convey a heart felt Thank You! -Dom

I’ve been using this video to make my champurrado for the past 3years and I’ve always loved your grandmas videos, I also learned to make arroz con leche through another one of her videos! & just now did I go on your page and see that this video is 10years old & I saw the “Remember me” tribute to your loved ones🥹 I definitely cried let’s just say that!🥹 . . may she rest in peace! She definitely left an imprint in my heart through her videos❤🥹🕊️🫶

For some reason people in Mexico are and were more creative with their food and drinks. Too many restaurants claim to serve authentic Mexican food and the food is horrible. I love to cook and make homemade drinks. Thumbs up to you and your abuela. Funny, but I'm sure she was used to cooking over an open wooden fire. Her recipe doesn't use measurements cause it's all from the heart; that's where people lose the taste. This recipe is priceless.

It is so nice to see that your abuelita helps you to prepare this recipe. In Mexico, older folks are more respected than in the U.S. (I lived in Monterrey in Nuevo Leon in the 1970s). I absolutely loved it! I enjoyed the delicious food and, of course, the beautiful people of Mexico. !Que viva Mexico para siempre!

Be sure and record your abuelas while you can, I wish we had done it more. What a unique craft learned down from generation to generation. They don't need no stinking measuring tools!!

maybe that's why the culture is broke and below the standard. Need to measure and create that culture, in every aspect of life, transform to budgeting. Mexican is a great culture, it is so sad that they work for less, do all for less instead of measuring high for their value.

I sure do miss this now that we live up in Washington state. I will be making it even though it’s spring time here. Champurado is good anytime!!
