    I usually go Yau Ma Tei only for Cinematheque and the cafe, also there’s a busy fruit market and some kitchenware u can find.

      Yeah ive been to Yau Ma Tei plenty of time, pretty cool down there....seems to get lost with it being in between mong kok and Tsim Sha Tsui

      These years citizens immigrated after many social turmoil, and the gov advocated the abolition of hawker licenses, making it difficult for outsiders to apply... 🤷‍♂

      So most of the young will set up a online store rather than a street store, then may go for upstair mini-stores if they have spare money. But the cost still quite high.

    Heart breaking to see it like that must be soul destroying for the locals! HK gov needs to do something before they lose the tourist $$. These street markets are a big attraction
