Yeah, from what I remember their head was all black (sans the eyes) back in the day. I just figured it was a dramatic shadowing effect to look cooler. Don't know if that was the intent though.
My Walgreens never seem to stock, or just don't stock enough but I'm still going to try hunting this figure for the next couple weeks. He's my favorite Marvel character and it's a good figure. They need to make a Mr. Knight figure and khonshu to go with him.

One detail I noticed on this figure is he has the badass fisted hands with the extended knuckles and moon motif on the back of the palm, but on the open hands they aren't there.

That white in the background was blending with the figure, so it was a little bit tricky to my eyes to see some of the poses and detail, but as always I appreciate the reviews and the information. I do still like both of the Legends MODOK series versions, even though that plastic hood/cape combination was worthless. Aside from that I thought the figure was a nice sculpt and posed really well. I'll probably pick this one up too.

To me the modern, armored Moon Knight looks cool to me, but nothing wrong with the classic version. It just boils down to personal preference of what look you want for Moon Knight.
Sometimes with long capes if you don't plug it in the hole and lay it on the shoulders they can stand up straight. And my cape on the modern is strait out so yours must be a defect🤷♂️🤦♂️

If you look at the gauntlet pieces and the leg piece you’d see that this is not an actual “classic” version. This is the same design he’s wearing right now in his newest story where he caught Thor’s hammer.
I think Moon Knight doesn't really have powers hahaha his lunacy makes him think he has powers, but it everything runs in his crazy mind. Belief is the greatest power.
If anything, Mafex Batman doesn't have enough cape. I can't properly reproduce that infamous _'them perched on that weird gargoyle thing'_ image. I need like three square feet of cloth for that.
I have both Mezco Moon Knight figures and the Marvel Legends modern version. So if I can't get this Marvel Legends at retail cost it will be an easy pass for me. Not going to pay the scalping fee of $40-60.
I wish hasbro would glue their capes down, I love the figures like vintage vision because the cape is secure, but loose giant capes or even lots of unglued straps like on cyclops take a lot of the fun out of posing
@@juansanchez209 You don't need to replace the cape though with the Mezco. Custom wired capes aren't cheap, and this is a Walgreens exclusive so some people will be paying markup. It's $27 after shipping if you ordered from Walgreens online. The price difference isn't that much imho considering the huge gap in quality.

The Cape feels long because the mold they used is short, the same Cape doesn't look that long on Prowler and the other MK.
