- We finally made it to transfer day! This is our first embryo transfer at our US clinic after doing two last year at our clinic in Italy. Everything is looking so so good. On August 12 of last year my husband and I had 2 embroys transferred, now six years after starting our fertility and IVF journey my now almost 4 month old son is currently sleeping in his bassinet, I wish you all the best and I hope that your journey will give you a little miracle as well!

The strength and courage it takes to endure endometriosis, IVF, miscarriages, and pregnancy is astounding. I lost six children, including one stillbirth, and I can still remember the feeling of overwhelming loneliness and despair - despite being surrounded by family and loved ones. There is no way I could have ever found the physical or mental fortitude to film my journey, but I keep thinking how comforting it is to see you guys. Had your videos been around back then, it would have helped me tremendously, so I can’t imagine the numerous people the two of you are encouraging, uplifting, and giving strength to without even realizing it. I have never prayed so hard for two strangers to get there happily ever after. Truly, I hope you both get your beautiful, healthy family and all of the blessings you deserve in this lifetime.

Some tips 😉:
After drawing up the progesterone in the syringe, lay it on a heat pad for a few minutes to warm the oil while it’s still in the syringe .During that time apply an ice pack to the site of injection. The first week or so of shots aren’t super painful but over time the scar tissue forming from the IM injections make subsequent shots feel more painful. So the ice pack to numb the injection site helps soo much. After injection, have a heat pad ready to place on the injection site to warm the area back up. Keep heat pad on for 5-10 minutes and then massage and do some squats to finish off. Best of luck in your journey, sending lots of prayers!

I got pregnant right after 1 year of lupron. My daughter is now turning 25 in a couple of weeks, and five months after I had her, I had another little surprise with my sons who turns 24 in November. Good luck!!!!

I did a couple rounds of IVF and six embryo transfers - my husband was only able to be with me for the first - and it always felt so wrong to not have him there for the rest. Like you say, you go through so much to get to this moment, it's so important to allow you both to share in the good parts together. Congratulations now on being "pregnant until proven otherwise" (hopefully never proven otherwise). Soak it up, hopefully for the next nine months!
it's funny that you say that there was a little flash and then you could see the embryo, b/c that's how I have heard what occurs at the time of conception. A burst of light, (becomes a burst of life!)🙏🙌❤❤

Happy, excited tears for you both. I had to lay on my belly for 4 hours after transfer, 40 years ago. I guess they have found that unnecessary. Have been praying for this couple so much. We have been in our own waiting period for our rainbow baby for over a year now, but I have prayed so much for you two! Keep warm with good soups and broth and keep your feet warm too! At least that’s what my acupuncturist has told me.

We hired a nurse to teach us the first 3 shots. Because of the needle and you kinda have to jam it in there, she had my husband practice on an orange & that seemed to help. I also don't recall massaging the area but I didn't get any lumps so who knows.

Alessio, per le punture, io mi sono trovata molto bene facendo così: borsa dell'acqua calda sulla zona x circa 10 minuti, mentre nel frattempo si tiene in mano la siringa già pronta, in modo che il liquido diventi più fluido possibile. Poi al volo, disinfettare e iniettare MOLTO lentamente. Mio marito mi faceva 1 step della siringa, 10 secondi di attesa, e così via fino alla fine. Dopo, di nuovo acqua calda x 10 minuti. Ovviamente una volta a destra e una a sinistra. A parte un paio di volte che ho avuto più fastidio (la prima volta ero così nel panico da cosa avevo letto online che sono svenuta), era solo un leggerissimo indolenzimento, assolutamente sopportabile. Subito dopo l'iniezione, massaggiare con cura. Un grande in bocca al lupo a tutti e due!

It’s my daughter’s 30th birthday. We’d already had 6 ivf cycles before we got her. 2 years later a little boy. Two more years a natural pregnancy!! ( severe endo with no functional tubes but the egg found its way) I really hope the best for you, I remember how difficult life was .

When you do the injection cross the leg on the injection side over/behind the non-injection side leg. Lean onto a counter, and only touch your toes on the floor on the injection leg. It relaxes the muscle and it’s not possible tense up that glut, so the injection is easier, disperses better and hurts less! I’m a long time healthcare worker and this is how i give all of my glut injections!
Listen little embryo! You definitely want to stick with these two. 🥰

I’m so proud of you both going through all this to have a precious child. Jessi you are so brave. I during my 2 pregnancies I learned that having a baby in the womb will make you do things you are usually scared of. Pregnancy really helped me with my fear of needles . I’m so glad yours didn’t hurt, great job Alessio!
