Welcome to the first Captain Cooper Vlogs full flight video! I changed the name for the simple reason many were finding it difficult to search and find. The reason I chose this new title is because some of my friends and teachers call me captain. I know I'm not a real captain yet, but it's a cool nickname from them.
On this short flight, I fly on my first Delta A320 and former NWA aircraft to my recollection. This aircraft has the new interior which means it'll stay in service. The new interior looks pretty good! The overhead panels look funky, but sleek. They are what also emit the mood lighting. When the call button is pressed, the panel lights up orange. When the engines started there was a strong scent of jet fumes for a couple minutes which was cool but odd. The row behind me didn't have a window on the window seat so be warned. The flight crew of course was great as always but it was a while till the drinks came all the way to the back. Overall a fun flight. I have family in Long Island so I do travel up there quite a bit. In this case I was went for my grandpa's 90th birthday!

Good Landing
I dont care what anyone says LaGuardia Airport is awesome as old as it is i love the activity at that airport and the approaches and landings there.
WOOW!! DELTA, you really made a really very good job for equipped this A320 with such very nice and blue illuminated overhead-panels and, like onboard Delta,s newest A32-fleet, bigger baggage-bins. But the window-frame too (at least onboard this special aircraft) has a very fascinating new design. Very well done, DELTA!!

WOOOW!!! NEVER BEFORE I experienced such a BRANDNEW and STYLISH Airbus A320-family cabin-interior.The blue overhead-lights above each seat must be BRANDNEW too I guess it,s the most up-to-date A320-family cabin-interior from today. And NEVER BEFORE I experienced such large overhead-bins onboard a single-aisle Airbus aircraft. Very strong these bins reminds me regarding these onbard the new B-737-MAX Boeing-Sky-Interior Cabins.

18:47 I'm sitting at my desk at home watching this video and my mind is thinking "We're 10,000 feet up and there are no parachutes on this plane". I'm in a small b ut constant state of panic. I can't stop it either. If I were on that plane I'd be having a nervous breakdown.

Oh my gosh! I love the 717, especially that engine noise. I hope y'all can do some more videos with that plane. Now if only Boeing would reconsider making some more of those planes, it would be nice. They are really incredible, and you can really get a good picture and sound out of those videos with Hawaiian Airlines and Delta's B717s. I hope you both can take some flights aboard the 717, too. An airport made for DC3s and 7s. My Dad used to work for United 1956 threw 1961 then transferred to San Francisco..

Amazing vid dude,it is curious that all the three major us airliners have both airbus and boeing in their fleet even though many americans talk bad about airbus because of national pride. Honestly I like both manufacturers.
Rick DL Thank you! I don't like Airbus because they are fully automated. The pilot is number 2 which I strongly dislike. That's one of the many reasons I love the maddogs so much. We're in command and no computer can ever beat the human mind. Thanks for watching!
As a passenger I like the airbus a320 and a321but if I was a pilot I wouldn't like it so much because of the control sticks and the plane seems to be very light and it's also fully automated. But the number thing I wouldn't like are the control sticks because it would feel like I video game machine then a plane.

Actually the speedbrake was deployed as soon as the plane touched down (no big news there) It is just that the landing was so smooth that it was looking like he haven't landed yet

@@beyonceluvr5178 Depending on the routing you get, the flight just might go out over the ocean for at least part of the trip up the coast. Generally, it's not more then ~50 miles from the coast, though.

Captain Cooper Yes i like the MD-88s as well its one of my favorite aircraft's i ride them all the time when I'm flying back and forth to Washington DC and New York and Dayton,OH.
Dexter Greene Ive flown on 4 of them in the past few months. I've flown on well over 130 of American's S80's. They're my favorite.

You do have to wonder if they realize that cramping people's legs like that will raise your risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis. You don't want a blood clot like that. They'd better change it back to the more roomy cabin arrangement. I really don't think the airlines care about our health. They just want our money, and it's a damn shame!

Why do people take planes in that area a drive from Atlanta to Orlando is only one hour and Dallas to Orlando is 2 hours. Why fly?
Brett Patetto ATL-MCO is not an hour drive. More like 9 hours. It's probably a 30 hour drive from Dallas.
