James Williams is the MAN! Love his designs ❤️! I have the Shinbu, Otanashi Noh Ken, Hissatsu folder, the Goken, and a Yukanto, and I will be getting both of these new Williams CRKT offerings.
He has some remarkable designs perfectly suited for those that carry them for their intended uses whether tgat is for work or personal protection. You have some great ones listed & a few especially the fixed blades I woukd love to get my mitts on. I have recently purchased the CRKT Burnley Obake which is a great small backup knife of similar Japanese styling & the HZ6 which is an amazing blade for the price.
I love the HZ6 & whike I know of one person who had the very tip of that extremely fine top on his break off from just sheathing & unsheathing it is an amazing blade that's only weakneses are found in the sheath & even they are minimal. Another great design by James & great exe union by CRKT! Now just for them to get the 4.5" Yukanto back into production!
I really wish CRKT would start putting out the Hisshou series of knives because that blade shape is one of the best for fighting knives and no one is putting out that style of blade except for maybe Ka-bar with their modified tanto.
I stabbed my HZ6 thru a 3” thick piece of green bamboo with mine, multiple times, and purposely pried the blade out against the flat of the blade. No damage to the tip or edge, and it came hair popping sharp out of the box. It’s important to note that the grip is made to be extremely aggressive. It’s uncomfortable, but that friction is what keeps your hand from sliding onto the blade, so don’t sand down the edges on the scales if you do buy it. The aggressive grip also makes it very difficult for someone to disarm you. Overall, it’s a great “get off me” knife that conceals decently and deploys quickly from the sheath.
I am VERY PLEASED with my new HZ6! the videos and picture DON NOT do it justice. One "must" actually pick it up and see it personally to appreciate it's excellent fit and finish AND, it's "lethal awesomeness"!!!
I'm waiting for both of those to come in the mail. I wish that I could have gotten the HZ6 with the Veff serrations. These will be my first James Williams design knives. I would love to own them all. I have my sights set on the Otanashi Noh Ken next, but cannot find it with the serrations either. Impressive video on the penetration power of the design.
Hello, cool idea behind the video presentation, but you can do much more! Different knives, materials, tasks, cuts & stabs from different handling/positions. Without comparison you can’t get the whole picture.
I really like William's designs.
Because they are perfection

Crkt, PLEASE make a 9” version of this knife, similar to the HZO-002. Just received my HZ6 today and I’m loving it so far. Such a sexy blade design.
Thanks for the feedback. We'll pass it along to our product development team.
I’m going to second that. An “O-tanto. Also an XL Goken.
Re-release the hisshou for the love of God! But bless James for still putting out amazing designs

My favorite knife designer, I own almost all of his CRKT blades.
They are great. I love those designs also.
Thank you Mr. James Williams. You may not have taught me directly, but I have learned quite a bit from you. I truly appreciate everything you do!

Yes people who say it’s too aggressive don’t understand about wielding a knife under stress. Or when blood and water might enter the situation.
Pryed, not pried.

I’ve been a Williams fan since the 1990’s! I am buying the CRKT HZ6 for my daughters.
James is the man. Miss him being so close in San D. But I know he is happy where he is now.

I want one of thes knives... And a lesson from the master

Thank you for the instruction!
Sweet! Awesome demonstration. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Was that a stock SK5 blade steel or a super duper blade steel?
The HZ6 is SK-5 carbon steel. 👍
Sk5 is some.of the strongest steels out there I've done some sketchy shit with sk5 aka sk85 and it takes the abuse like a champ
Forget the knife,nice dojo!
The guy looks like samurai.
Dammmm that's a beautiful thing 😍
Considering all the knifes in the world, and if I just want one defensive stabbing knife, would the No Ken be the only contender?
Top class!
I want one. Supply chain to Toronto Canada?....
We recommend checking with House of Knives, which is a CA-based retailer. Both of these models are available on their site. 👍
Sold!
Hello, cool idea behind the video presentation, but you can do much more!
Different knives, materials, tasks, cuts & stabs from different handling/positions. Without comparison you can’t get the whole picture.
Even tho, with folding knives you can show locking mechanisms and how they handle it.
@@heavy_hate5346 The folding knife in this video has the Deadbolt locking mechanism.
The fact he can waste plywood like this amazes me. Mr. Willams is such a badass that he probably buys plywood and ammo on the same day!
So edgy
@@Xander_Park glad to entertain you!🤣
Hello, can you make a variant of HZ6 for Russia?
Cold Steel is laughing at this video .
Cold Steel doesn't have one Tanto as cool as anything designed by James Williams.
More lik crying cause they don't have anything even close to this .
What the fuck with掛軸
Wut
Same knife like Hissatsu just another grip
Nice dress
I’ll take “things you wouldn’t say to his face” for $1000.
So edgy
god this is the definition of cringe... nice knife though
Why cringe?
It shows perfectly fine what the knife is good at.
Just a demonstration.
Go back to serving at the star bucks wimp.
