    Fabulous tutorial Jo. I love the idea of an accent bead on the loops and I'm now rummaging through my stash for a few cabochons!

      The accent bead can really transform your basic spiral...Good Luck with your rummage! ;-) x

    Great video, beautiful bracelet. Wish you showed how to end and add a clasp and how to attach when using as a rope on a necklace.

      Hi Lisa
      It’s something that I am showing more often not in my tutorials. I’ve learnt a lot about what people want to see/don’t want to see 😉 since I started doing my RUclips demos…x

    Hi Jo, can you do a video on spiral rope with no clasp just long enough to pull over the head with no clasp. Would love to learn to close the ends on a spiral without using a clasp. Thak you for your reply. Patricia

    Hi ,Can you please help me I am making a spiral rope with No.11 seed beads for the core and 4 No.11 seeds beads for the outside spiral. I would love to learn how to close the ends together without using any clasp just a siimple pull over the head rope chest length and I am having problems closing the ends to make it look like invisible rope with no join. I would be so grateful for your help. Just subcribed Patricia.

      Hi Patricia...I have to let you know that I myself have not tried joined the spiral rope stitch together without a clasp...I think it would be easier to do using tubular peyote stitch in a spiral or tubular spiral herringbone stitch. I think with Spiral rope - it's easy enough to connect the core beads together but not very easy, if at all possible to get the spirals joined and still all going the same way...but as I said...I've not personally tried that....x

    I'm sorry I meant size 8 seed beads

    • @JoBarclayLoggie
      @JoBarclayLoggie  4 года назад

      Yes- of course you can do the spiral, just using 8/0 seed beads - it will end up begin chunkier rope - so you may want to reduce the number of 8/0's you pick up either side of the accent bead....or you might like it super chunky! Let me know how you get on...you can post a picture to my fb page - link is on the channel or in the description...x
