Beautiful drone footage, despite the destruction. Nice to see a video from you @Hampton, despite the circumstances. I hope you were all safe during the hurricane and spared from the destruction.
Dr Rutland your videographic work is amazing. Better by far than anything on the new. Thank you and rot gods sake stay safe. We need people like you ❤️
Thanks for sharing! Well done as always. I'll throw in my support for your hobby, or second profession basically. Happy to watch more of your creations!
So you don't live here, but you can tell us all about it huh? I live and lake charles and with Laura we suffered 150mph sustained winds and gusts up to 200mph. EVERY single building in the Lake Charles metro area had some sort of damage....ranging from minor to being completely demolished.
It is very much a shame we do not see videos from you anymore! I know you’re pretty busy being a dad and a physician so probably not a lot of time for RUclips
Look up some of the worst storms in history. Betsy, Cheniere Caminada, Andrew, Katrina, Galveston, etc. They were and always will be! Half the shipwrecks in the tropics were due to hurricanes. To believe that humans can change them to any significant degree is to believe we are much more powerful than we actually are. We created civilization in spite of nature but that does not mean we control it to any degree. It’s about as sane as humans being able to cool down the sun or stop the next earth quake or mega volcano. Unfortunately we just aren’t all that significant but we like to pretend that if you throw some money and political bias at a problem it will magically disappear. Nature is to blame: nothing more, nothing less.

Well that sucks. One of the main reasons I moved out of hurricane alley. Is Lake Charles below sea level?

Its too bad that with climate change, theses are only going to get more frequent.
This has nothing to do with climate change... smh
@@canesrock82 Who Sould we blame then ?...Obama ?
@@bobdickweed Well 1st you need to establish there are more hurricanes today than say 100 years ago. Prove that 1st.

@@TheDecoyDude That may be the most sane response to anyone saying "man made climate change" is too blame. thanks!
