What was the hardest at the beginning? how can we arm ourselves to better face changes? How long did it take you to get used to your new life? Thank you.
Your sincerity is loud and clear. Appreciate it. So far my takeaway is to 'hatem' the Quran monthly, then let the hijrah journey to me rather than chase it by mindpicking a better destination. Surah Kaaf dua is the one i read much before I found HomeSchool
Yes its a beautiful lifelong committment and monthly goal to complete the Quran and its benefits reach the reciter personally as well as other family members!
Shukran..May Allah bless you.. So you didn't do a full degree? Is this something you faced significant challenges with not having or do you think a person is able to do Hijra without one? Would you think its a good idea maybe to do a degree once you are abroad?
BarakaAllahu feek brother Correct - I pulled out of my degree but I had a college diploma already - This did help with getting an online teaching job along with the 1 month celta course that I had did The degree importance depends on the job you can do If its teaching: Some organizations require a degree plus an english teaching certificate if you are looking to teach online or in a school Others may accept a diploma plus a celta And general platforms which allow teachers to build up their own profiles dont require any degree If you want to go into business you don't need a degree at all, you just need savings and the ability to invest Finally - some degrees in the UK are not recognized as jobs in Morocco or other countries anyway - eg optometry, the degree I was doing - so you should double check that too You can consider doing a degree in the country that you move to depending on how much time you have - thats also an easy way to get residency because then you receive a student visa

It's also strange you mentioned Malaysia and Morocco as those are the same two options my many years of thinking and reading have pointed me too....

The degree importance depends on the job you can do
If its teaching:
Some organizations require a degree plus an english teaching certificate if you are looking to teach online or in a school
Others may accept a diploma plus a celta
And general platforms which allow teachers to build up their own profiles dont require any degree
