Your video is very good, on how to connect the equipment to the qgis through qfied and qgiscloud. My question is how to make the project in the cloud to be able to share the project with my team of students, I mean, the steps from the beginning to the end to be able to connect the different devices to the project, to involve the members in the project? Would you be so kind as to make a tutorial on that procedure. Because I didn't understand the last part of the video. waiting for your response, thank you very much
or if someone can show me how the project is generated in the cloud to accept the team members, or if there is another tutorial, how this procedure explains (link) thank you very much
I understand what you mean. The video you watched is a follow up video for my previous once. Please refer to this other video for step by step instructions on how to get QField cloud setup on your pc; Android: m.ruclips.net/video/Hf2DNveGfJk/видео.html iOS: m.ruclips.net/video/yIuLe18tQvU/видео.html Now, you need to create an account on QField website, this account - you will share with your members to login with. The video will show you how to set up QField on your pc, create the project on the cloud and connect your phone (s) to it.
Bro, your videos are excellent and i learned (upskilled) alot from them. Is there a way that each team member can be assign a unique number so that it can be viewed on the QGIS desktop through the QGIS cloud while they are on the field in order to view their realtime location and their collected data? Thanks
Thanks for following my content. The way QField works is that, until the field person uploads his work, you won’t be able to access in real time. So that option is not available. But if you want to identify which team member mapped what, a good option will be to add an attribute field in your dataset, so that anyone who maps an object will select/input his name or ID for easy identification later on. As for real time tracking, that options is not available
Another ideas is, Each user who maps can easily upload his work on the field at every instance. For instance, you can tell all your members to push their edits and sync their phones every, 10 minutes. This will help prevent loss of data/overwriting issues. This could also be a way of tracking work done every 10 minutes although it’s not exactly real-time tracking.
when you create an organization, insert the members in the organization through the registered emails and create a project in that organization, is it another way to share a project or is there some kind of limitation?
All teams members has pushed their data to the cloud but we cant find any data on the laptop in qgis even though we can see changes have been made to the project
Sorry for the delay in responding and also for the situation you are dealing with. Ok it's important that they upload the data with strong internet. With large datasets, it takes time to upload and update on the cloud project. Similarly, use a good internet to sync the cloud project to the pc. This may also be a bug associated with the platform, if it persists, you could consider reaching out to the support team.
if I can't synchnize my project (on mobile) to cloud, how to I can get the data from my mobile to my computer (open on Qgis)? Where is the root Qfield folder on the mobile phone? (android, IOS)?
I mean, after I created points on field at Qfield - Mobile phone, then I couldn't synchnize the data to the Cloud. So, I must plug my mobile in my computer, copy this data to the import folder (Qfield on the Computer). Thanks for a good video!@@ProGeomatics
It would be super nice to create a video explaining how to connect postgis layers to a project in QfieldCloud through secrets (pg_service.conf). Detailed. What do you think?
Great suggestion! But I’ll have to first research on it, I had never considered using PostGIS directly with QField, I think it will be a really helpful video. I’ll look into it soon
@@ProGeomatics Indeed, the documentation is there but it is not clear which setbacks may occur in the process and possible solutions and so on for not coding experts. I am currently dealing with it and I saw many users having these bottlenecks.
good. please how do I create a team and add members to it?
Great video
Thanks Levi
Pls, How do I add members for collaboration in a project

my problem is how add collaborators in a QField cloud project
You can do that on the QField cloud website.
app.qfield.cloud/

@@ProGeomatics Wow, I am happy to hear this and will also put it to test
What about integrating QGIS, Qfield, with PostGIS/Postgresql
And how can I record the tracks with my point in Qfield on Mobile?

That’s looks like a good idea. I haven’t tried it. But I’ll do that soon. Thank you for the advice

You can go online to QField platform and check out the project files. You could even download them directly from the online platform
