I live in Florida, a city in greater Fort Lauderdale, and I remember hurricane Wilma hit as a Cat 3 but was a Cat 2 by the time it hit my city and we were without power for 3 weeks and boil water order. It was tough. Lots of trees down and roof damages. It was wild! I couldn't believe it was only a Cat 2 and did so much damage that took years to recover from. People had the blue tarp on their roofs for years. Evacuate people!
Go to a shelter.Take bedding, phone, book or knitting or something.take nonperishable food, leave most in car for after storm. Drinks. H2O. Take important papers in container, leave in car. Red cross will arrive in about a week. Take a cheap blow up mattress or foam or thick blanket to sleep on. Take clothing. Take something comfie to sleep in, but remember you're in public. Take slippers or socks, flipflops for shower. Towel, wash cloth, soap,WIPES! Trust me. Showers may not get to shelter for a week. Toilet paper and a bunch of poop bags if things get bad. Hand sanitizer. More wipes. Any medical supplies you'll need. Be kind. Stick together. Stay safe. Stay safe. Do not leave shelter until recovery of possible bodies is finished. Local authorities will inform. Don't panic. Be prepared.

You know in all my years of seeing hurricanes there hasn't been hurricanes all that much that equal up to the Hurricanes within the last 2 years but with that being said I really can't picture hurricane Milton decreasing all that much before it hits Florida I know that sounds like a worst case scenario. By giving all of the energy that's out there with the warmer Waters than usual I don't think the wind shear will really weaken it all that much the only thing that's going to weak In This Storm substantially is when it hits land. But as far as the peak of a hurricane there's been evidence before in the past back in prehistoric error where there were even more monstrous hurricanes due to having warmer sea temperatures so I truly think in the future there may have to be a category 6 add it to the scale the waters are continuing to get warmer throughout the years which is leading to these rapid intensifying hurricanes But ultimately it depends on Mother Earth herself how strong hurricanes get . But I may be wrong or maybe right I'm just going by what I've seen Heart goes out to Florida.

We talked a few hours ago and she said they were trying to evacuate the coastal areas first, she's all packed and ready to leave....we are watching this all from Arizona. Know people in Asheville NC, these storms are not to be taken lightly...
