I totally agree about the interchangeable plates! That would especially be a great tool for apartment living or dorm rooms!!! Thanks for another great video!
In addition to the multifunction Dash appliance you suggested, I would love to see additional available Dash plates for the same appliance (could be sold separately) for a corn dog maker. And for those who use it, a sandwich maker.
They need flips plates. Waffles on one side and regular on the other. I’m so glad you did this review. I was just about to buy the one small dash so now I can get the 4 pack. Ha. Is this chaffle your favorite recipe? You did a chaffle comparison video in which you really loved one recipe so much from another you tuber. Wondering if you changed your mind on that one?
Steve, my girlfriend and I are hooked on your videos. But at first, I admit, I judged you way too harshly thinking that you were trying too hard or just putting on for the camera creating a RUclips persona like many do. After binge watching a bit and seeing your transformation series, your vulnerability and authenticity struck a chord with me. I told my girlfriend you're definitely worth a follow. She shared this morning over coffee "I really like this guy". You've certainly earned our respect.
I spent around 15 years as a corporate trainer, so I'm used to "playing to the back of the room". That could be part of the "trying too hard" thing you felt you saw. Regardless, I'm glad you stuck around. 🙂
I am excited to put mine to use. When mine showed up a couple weeks ago my wife rolled her eyes...”another waffle maker?” There are many worse vices than having too many Dash appliances. Haha.
Yep, I suggested an interchangeable machine way back. SO much more practical. I would, also, prefer a square mini waffle plate. For sandwiches. Round for "buns."
My George Foreman, which I've had for over a decade, has interchangeable plates. Of, course it does not do mini waffles, but it makes darn good square waffle and can griddle a good bread-chaffleish substitute. But, there's no sub for the Dash Mini. (I have the griddles, since my focus was sandwich "bread.") They are portable, easy to tote for a weekend away from home, and a breeze to clean.
Had to give an update. Bought the Multi waffle maker and it is a game changer for bulk baking. I use the Chaffle recipe by Keto Twins using egg whites and they came out so crispy. Thank you for the heads up on the new Dash
I also really like your Best Bread Chaffle EVER recipe for a waffle. I leave out the salt and garlic and use 1/4 tsp Splenda Allulose instead. Use sugar free syrup! Yummy! Keep up the good work!!!
The other feature dash needs to add is that the plates should pop out and go in dishwasher! I love that part about the Hamilton Beach breakfast sandwich maker! Sooo much easier!
I bought one of these a few days ago and i love it so far. I donated my dash mini to Goodwill since it is now redundant Today I made 2 'sandwiches' with bacon and mashed avocado filling for my OMAD. Best thing I've eaten in ages.
Just purchased the Dash Multi Mini Waffle Maker - unsure if you got affiliate $ so I donated $5 to you. You're awesome. Keep up the "good" work you're doing.
Anyone else find themselves making chaffles while watching this? I love how this is so you can family style your waffle making. (yeah, I’m fully making myself a four stack with that big boy!)
I have had my 4 chaffle maker for about 5 months and love it. I make up a big batch and freeze them. I haven't bought regular bread since I discovered chaffles.
I hate cleaning those things, removable plates would make that job a lot easier. I love the cinnamon chaffles and sometimes add frozen blueberries. I'd make them more and buy this one except for the cleaning.
They finally did it!!! I emailed Dash a year ago & they responded that they would forward my suggestion to their development team. Just ordered it on Amazon last night, can’t wait to get it tomorrow😊
Just made the waffle recipe for the first time. It is good enough to be a regular made item for breakfast. What is weird though Is that when I made the recipe, it made 3.5 waffles with no overflow. You should be sponsored my Dash. I got one because of this channel.
Although interchangeable plates would be worth it at $70, still out of my price range, but I will be glad to see your dash appliances in the thrift store!
Even for just making regular waffles (not keto) it’s pretty hard to find one that doesn’t make Belgian waffles. This looks perfect for making waffles and freezing them for the kids.
🥰Woohoo!! ...Just ordered one!! ...As well as the quest cinnamon protein!.... THANK-YOU so much!!! ...Sunday breakfasts will be wonderfully fun and delicious again for hubby and I !!!❤️ And it’s keto friendly!!! 🎉🎉🎉
I received my multi mini dash a couple of weeks ago and I love it. Like you I did not spray it and have had no issues. One time I had over flow on both sides (experimenting). It made 2 perfect little breadsticks, I thought brush with some garlic butter, yum!
We have the square four waffle maker. It's fantastic. It does not have an overflow area, but if you're careful, you don't need it anyway. I might be interested in that Quest protein flavor... ☺
I used the "best white bread" chaffle recipe in my new unit. May have been the recipe, but I didn't spray it and wow, what a mess. Took a long time to get it all out of there. Stuck like it was glued in on both halves. I will spray from now on.
I appreciate this new waffle maker and I am with you about removable plates. I have the Cuisinart WAF-300P1, I know this is a Belgian waffle maker but it is great...Removable plates means very easy cleaning plus I have the pancake plates and it also features adjustable temp...until something better is released this is our go to waffle/chaffle/pancake/chancake maker. Great video Steve! Keto On Steve!
That's why I'm glad I got me a Cuisinart 5-in-1 griddler for our wedding all those years ago. We bought the interchangable waffle iron plates and can make 4 waffles/chaffles whenever we want and there's never any overflow. I do like the seasonal designs Dash brings out ever so often but it's not enough for me to switch.
Thanks for the detailed and honest review. Took the plunge and ordered one. I have two mini's currently, and they are now going to be retired in favor of this machine.
I agree they should have an interchangeable or reversible plate. I have a waffle iron I've had for about 40 years. The plates come out and flip over. You can then use the one side for waffles and the other side for pancakes, eggs or whatever. I just use it for pancakes or omelettes. It's great to have that option. I also have my mini dash for my small ones, as my older iron makes pretty big waffles. I bought mine used at a garage sale for $10. 40 years for $10 is pretty good.
Thanks for the review! I’m glad to see a kitchen that looks like mine, we have friends who don’t have anything on their counters - they also can’t cook. Your idea for a Dash with changeable plates would be great.
Good review. With the number of "keto friendly" breads, buns, and wraps coming out, I find myself chaffling (is that a word?) less and less since I tend to meal prep on Sundays for my work week. This makes me want to go back to the cleaner eating that got me down 90 pounds in the first place. Think this one is going in shopping cart. Thanks!
If dash won’t make that dream appliance for us....YOU MAKE IT FOR US!! ... just as George Forman did ...YOU DO!!...only add a hot dog roll option too!🤗
Great suggestion! Steve, you’d be perfect for all kinds of product development and review presentations. You obviously have the voice for it and a good back story.
I am so glad you know the right way to say comparable... I cringe every time someone says it the hillbilly way... I may have said that to you before but I still appreciate it.
Steve , this is what I was waiting for . This is what the keto doctor order lol for our keto community I have 2 mini dash but this one is better... thank you. God Bless you.
Hello Steve, I ran across your channel about a year ago, as I finally an fully starting to commit to the lifestyle change, I've finally took a deeper look into you videos, I was amazed by your journey and the beginnings, I also bought the Penn Jillette, I will be starting this guide around the 22nd, with plans to be finished with the potato portion by the 5th, I thank you things don't happen until you fully commit to making it happen, also I do like to work out so I will give an update!
If they had interchangeable plates they could make one of the plates a corn dog maker. Another could be a waffle cone maker. Ok it's getting out of hand now.
I just purchased the Dash Multi Mini and I'm going to try your waffle recipe. I don't have the Quest cinnamon crunch protein powder so I'm going to try 1 1/2 T unflavoured protein powder and 1/2 T powdered sweetener and a dash or two of cinnamon. We'll see how that works out.
Yeah.... Dash attachment plates..... I did buy the overflow Dash a couple of years ago. It's great. No mess. The overflow channels sometimes produces a yummy cheesy treat! :-)
I ❤️ love love love ❤️💜❣️my Dash Multi Mini 4 waffle maker (1200 watts.) I’ve had it for a couple months now. (Did I say I LOVE my Dash 4 waffle maker?). I Love it!! I’m going to have to get some quest protein powder❣️
Another great review of an appliance I don’t have the room for yet. In the process of relocating and am thankful for your Amazon store where all your favorite things are.
I’ve been on the fence about buying the full size waffle maker. This looks like the one. I use my two mini griddle a lot and so does my wife. We both think it’s time to go full size, Thanks - great review.
I have a fluffy-thing maker with six interchangeable plates. It has a griddle, a waffle, what appear to be mini muffins, poffertjes and a couple of others that I haven't tried. It works well, but is a cheaply made Chinese thing I got on Amazon that I expect to break down before long. But the idea is sound.
I've been making savory chaffles the "normal" way, but with the addition of either blue cheese crumbles or feta cheese crumbles. I'd like to be able to make four of them all at once because they're fabulous with tomato soup (yeah, I know, not true keto, but my body simply cannot process any vegetables but tomatoes (which is actually a fruit), carrots, potatoes, sweet potatoes, and beets. I'm doing the best I can without further hurting what's already badly injured!)
I'd really like one that makes two at a time... but four at a time will work. I feel like it is a tad expensive, but not a bank buster so I will probably get it. thanks for the review!
I agree...like my panini grill, has removable plates so smooth plates can be used that came with grill...easier cleaning too! My mom had a waffle maker back in the 60s that had removable plates like my panini maker...just saying....thx fir video!
Member of the appliance addicts association. Steve, do you feel this made thinner waffles compared to the multi ? If so I would definitely trade up. I'm already plotting how to sneak it into my kitchen undetected. Thank you for your commitment to this lifestyle. Your videos are so helpful and trustworthy.
Thanks so much for this review! Unfortunately, I recently bought the Dash No-Mess for bulk chaffle making, but haven't used it yet. Sounds like I probably should've gotten this one instead! LOL, oh well!
I have a George Forman grill with interchangeable plates. I don’t think it works as well. I’d be afraid the Dash might not get as hot. Sure would save space, though.
I picked up 2 mini’s and got hooked on chaffles. Really wish I would have just picked this up instead. Lol. Still enjoying my new chaffle addiction. Thanks Steve. Now I stand up Hi my name is Tribe and I have a chaffle addiction 🖐🏼 Steve maybe you can do a series with the family. Calling it “ I have a chaffle for that”. Lol.
My only issue with any of these products is cleaning! I went with removable plates on my foreman grill just for this reason alone. However I do like the overflow idea on this one. That is part of what makes cleanup such an ordeal in the single mini. That being said, I can see myself picking one of these up... hello Amazon! LOL
There ought to be a way to clamp the front shut. That would help with the mess, and force it to keep the heat captured, as well. That's my only gripe about the minis. I see this one has an upper and lower handle. I could, perhaps fashion something that could clamp these handles together. I'm definitely interested in the multi. Thanks for the review.
Dash should hire you as a consultant for their product development!
I totally agree about the interchangeable plates! That would especially be a great tool for apartment living or dorm rooms!!! Thanks for another great video!
I fully agree with the Cinnamon Toast Crunch protein powder! I use Monterey Jack shredded cheese as I find it milder and the package says
In addition to the multifunction Dash appliance you suggested, I would love to see additional available Dash plates for the same appliance (could be sold separately) for a corn dog maker. And for those who use it, a sandwich maker.
Great ideas. Maybe one day...
YES!!!! ...You read my mind!!!!💪🏼
Corn dog maker would definitely be my downfall. 😂
@@SeriousKeto I love your videos. You ROCK!!! Btw you're being discussed here: m.ruclips.net/video/XvyuCdxdwZQ/видео.html
@@thelowcarbchronicles9059 thanks for the heads up
The Cuisinart WAF-300 is perfection. 2 sets of removable plates and heat control and Ready/Done bells. $100 retail approx.
Good to know!
Make something like that and sell a version where you buy plates separately. They could also sell a deluxe pack where you get some or all the plates.
That's a great idea. Sort of like buying the various accessories for a KitchenAid.
@@SeriousKeto Exactly.

They should make this where the plates can be turned over to switch from waffle to flat.
That would be cool. Also if the hinge could open 180 degrees so you could have two griddle surfaces.
