I met that dude singing one time when I was shopping at a grocery store somewhere in Los Angeles back in the early 80s and whats funny about it was that I couldnt stop staring at him cuz he looked so familiar and was in the line behind me by two people and there was this monster of a woman in front of us with $1000 worth of food so I let the two people behind me cut in front of me and I was still at this time not totally sure that it was him and then out of nowhere he said. "Do you want an autograph??" and thats when I just about shit and said "Wow Im standing next to one of the greatest musicians that I have ever seen"!! He was cooler than shit and because I hadnt made a big thing about it and draw attention to him he said that I was the most considerate fan that he had ever ran across because I didnt jump up and down screaming hey everybody heres Jeff Lynne from ELO!!! (I hope I spelled his name correctly!!) but he let me shake his hand and that was plenty enough for me cuz of how down to earth and cool he was and is!! A very classy person!!! Cuz the conversation that got me to say to myself "Holy Fucking son of a bitch its that guy from ELO!!" I remember that I was looking at a Hot Rod magazine and I commented about this kick ass 1962 Impala that wasnt all over done and he said something about i being perfectly done and it was his voice but that was the extent of that!! I wish I had been intelligent enough to be able to talk him up to become a real friend cuz that would be frigging awesome! Just imgine that all you set out to do was to go down and get a gallon of milk and some pot pies and make friends with one of the most popular musicians out of the blue and I cant forget him saying thanks for not making some big stupid ass deal out of him and he probably didnt get that all the time!! Well thats my story about my trip to Los Angeles and a little trip down memory lane from my youth cuzI had to be around 20 or 22 Well thats it for today!! Maybe I'll tell my story of throwing snowballs at Jamie Farr at his Mothers house in th South End of Toledo where I am from!! Tomorrow that is if I survive the operation on my thoat that I have to have done! I have a walnut size mass on my voice box and Adams Apple that looks like might be the last round up for Ol' Den cuz my Dr. are pretty freaked out about the whole procedure and now they have me a tad bit concerned about it all cuz I was told to get my affairs in order before I got this thing removed but I am planning on being back but I think its going to be a kinda long road!!! But if Im not back I want to say thank you to all of you youtubers who have made my experience on here what it has been and I want to especially thank all of you folks that have uploaded stuff and all of the people who were kind to me in their replies to me even though I was drunk or on some other substance that caused me to power comment!! And then here were those of you who called me names n stuff I want to thank you great folks too cuz what kind of pussy cant handle a little constructive criticism?!? Nobody that I know!!! They just shot me up with some stuff here at the hospital that I would whole heartedly endorse for use in mild moderation!!! WHEW!!!! If that dont put a smile on your face nothing under the sun will!! But thats all I have to say guys except I love you all and I pray that you all have happy prosperous and most of all FUN LIVES!!! I hope you pulled through your surgery and are doing very well these days. If that didn't happen, then I hope you are thriving on a higher plane of existence. That's a very cool and enviable story you shared about meeting Jeff Lynne (yep, you spelled his name correctly)!!!! I'd hope that I'd not freak out if I ever met Mr. Lynne or someone of his caliber, and to be honest, I'd probably be stunned silent LOL. I've been a fan for 48 years. By the way, I power comment without substances; it's likely due to undiagnosed ADHD. 🤷🏼♀️😂
