I remember this. Soyeon had so much confidence in Yooyeon that Soyeon brought her back from elimination and then gave her a few pointers. Yooyeon did not make the final group but later debuted as part of TripleS, which has won some rookie awards. I think Yooyeon is the center. She definitely benefited from Soyeon's teachings.

The other thing is: Most new teachers are about 22 or 23. They find it difficult. Even if they're good, they're rarely this good. She knows exactly what she's doing as a teacher/instructor/trainer. Sure, she isn't a child, but she's still young.
Soyeon is CUBE strongest asset at this juncture; an IDOL who can write songs, produce the song beat and arrangements, arrange vocals to each of (G)I-DLE members... and also a decent dancer as well as a rapper/vocalist

Her mentoring is actually constructed, she will definitely crush you with honest judging but them pick up the crushed pieces and build it into a new shape, lift you up and the finished product is always incredible

These girls and boys team are so lucky to have Soyeon as their coach. She’s a perfectionist as she love art creativity. She helped these guys followed their dream and bring out their shyness to confident. Hanbin didn’t do well at the beginning as he was nervous but soyeon’s magic coaching helped him gained so much confidence
I agree with Soyeon when she said SPACEMAN is fitting for Hanbin, his voice fits his parts so well
I love how she helps them realise that they had some mistakes, and not thinking that being kissed with a lie is better than getting slapped by the truth

Soyeon perfect as mentor. Experience with every aspect of song production from concept to spending many hours in composing and lyrics and recording to even being involved in choreography and MV and stage direction! She is on a level of of her own. All these contestants are lucky to be receiving feedback from her.
SY is like the teacher/professor you love the most cos eventho she beat you with her words. She cares about you that's why eventho you're on the low rank she aint just here to scold you for being to weak at sumthin BUT HELP YOU TO RISE UP.
