BTW, Aoud Cafe is my pick over Intense Cafe.

They are very different fragrances. Aoud Cafe has a prominent coffee note that is musky, woody and sweet (fruity). Whereas Intense Cafe has a prominent rose note with vanilla, and a faint coffee accord in the background. If you're looking for a coffee fragrance then sampling Aoud Cafe would be a much better bet. However, Intense Cafe would is a better choice if you're looking for a Rose Vanilla fragrance...in which case you would also look at Roses Vanille (sweeter).
Some would say that Aoud Cafe is not a coffee scent because it does not beam "hot black coffee" - I disagree. However, I would not classify Intense Cafe as being a coffee fragrance...it's just a fragrance having a mild coffee accord in the background.
Oh man, it's so complicated . Off the cuff , the most simple designer can smell nice an draw a complement. Being a coffee roaster myself and former coffee judge , what I am looking for is a perfume that actually has the dry fragrance of freshly ground espresso. Every coffee frag on the market at the moment has nuances of coffee aroma as a complete drink. Great job guys very enjoyable . Thx

Finaly Polo Double Black gets some love ! Ever since you suggested Double Black from your most complimented I bought Double Black and have loved it ever since. Its also been 1 of my most complimented scents as well. The big downside to this though is it only lasts 3-4 hours on my skin :(

2 sprays of a Nasomatto, wheeew! Potent stuff! Surprised she wasn't taken aback by it. "That's probably why I don't like it" and "Why'd you make me smell that?!" made me laugh. Love that she knew the sound Montale's make.

Also, you always put those bottles on the edge of the table and it makes me soooo anxious! I'm clumsy, so I imagine them getting knocked off and broken.
I went out and purchased Valentino Uomo when I was up in Chicago, and I was so excited because it smelled so incredible to me. I came home and showed my partner and she immediately asked how much I spent because it smelled like hair spray. Needless to say, I ended up in the dog house. LOL.

Gourmand lover over here. Montale is my favorite coffee too. I used to be into frags big time in 2010. Pure malt was the rage but i assumed it was due to the limited availability. Now i see that it's easlily available. has the hype train died down?

Some things are a tie. I like pb and j together. I do not like just a plain peanut butter or just jelly sandwich.

Hey amigo do u like more a frag that projects beastly ( 2 to 4 hours ) with an average longivity or a frag with beast mode longivity and average projection and sillage ?
I think I prefer longevity over loud projection. I don't necessarily want to be smelled a mile away! Haha. How about you?

How long do fragrances last?
Varies hugely from fragrance to fragrance. If you're new to the hobby, what you want to look for are opinions on the fragrances's "longevity." More natural frags, especially coffee as the subject of the video (such as actual coffee absolute) can last a very very short time. I have one, and you have to use several sprays to even get the scent to come out, and it dies down quickly. Other frags with coffee, usually with synthetic notes, can last 2 to 8 hours, sometimes longer.
Great video one more time you both make a great job. Montale is one of my favorite houses btw. Intense caffe is great, I liked it when I sniffed it at Lucky Scent even though I would not like smelling like coffee since I work at a coffee restaurant. I dont find it very suitable to smell coffee all day long every single day of the week. Dont get me wrong IC still will make part in my stash.
