Good job bro I really like and enjoy ur evo content keep up the good work, I saw ur other video about the sound deadening I’m going the opposite way I’m gonna add more of that stuff to quite down my cabin cuz it’s my daily and that exhaust tone gets too u after awhile and besides the wifey is being complaining about since 2010
Hey thanks man! I appreciate that and appreciate you watching! Hahah 😂 I understand that! But I am actually going to be installing some really nice sound deadening material in once we get this underside done! I just didn’t like that cheap oem stuff haha!
@@jphurleyify Ah, gotcha! Yea I used those little wire wheels on everything. Got them from good ol' Harbor Freight. They are cheap but they get the job done. The WILL throw wire every where throughout the process tho.
I just bought an Evo 9 MR SE fully stock but has couple rust spots I would like to attend to to prevent any spread. What kind of grinder and disc are you using may I ask? Just found your channel and subbed. Great content sir!
Well first, thanks for checking the channel out and for the sub! I appreciate that! Second, Uhh..couple different things honestly. I used a Dremel tool with some scotch brite wheels on it for many of the spots under the car. Pryme MX is the brand I used. Then I just used a regular Craftsman grinder but used wire wheels from Harbor Freight. They are super cheap and get the job done. I used a 4" and a 3" wheel and cup style.
One other thing I will note is those wire wheels, once they begin to wear out, they sling wire pieces everywhere, haha. I've had them stick in me, stick in my clothes, everything. They just spray out over time.
@@RyneDickens haha yeah, I just did my Integra the other day with a drill and wire wheel attachment and that thing was flying at me too. But looks like I will need a grinder for more power. I will look those items up, thank you so much for the quick response!
@@pkchum4014 Oh niice!! Yeaa, the grinder will be much better with those extra rpm's. Plus just the power of the tool, I burnt up a Dremel on my project and had to buy another one....hahah! Good luck on yours!!
