I loved the backsplash in the bathroom. Also, the footstools with the balcony chairs were great. I think Carnival and NCL have the same chairs but without the stools. I thought the entire cabin was pretty, probably because blue is my favorite color.
Blue is my favorite color too. It's such a drastic change from the 80's decor of the Freedom class ships. Personally, I'd have liked to have a larger table outside, but you can always take the desk table out. Thanks for watching.
I never knew what that bar was in the shower. Thought it was for wheel chair. I do love that design in the bathroom. I loved the balcony on my trip but the door was so new hard to open. Yours looked easy.

My first thought was all the bruised calves that will result from the placement of those pegs. Poor choice. Overall I like the lighter decor of the room, but still prefer the more sophisticated look on Symphony/Harmony.
So it looks very much the same as other balcony rooms on other RC ships. I’m in Australia, and I don’t think we have the facilities to handle ships of this size
The layout is similar, the decor\furniture is quite different and modern. 2 closets vs one on Freedom class. And no 80s color scheme. I found it quite comfortable. I agree, there are a limited number of ports that can handle ships that size. Hopefully my Aussi friends can cruise soon.

The bed next to the balcony is a room specific case as other rooms have the sofa next to the balcony. This is why I do room tours so that people can see what this specific room looks like. For me the room was quite spacious for a standard balcony cabin.
Actually, this cabin is 182sf with a 50sf balcony - as opposed to Adventure balcony cabin is 162sf with a 46sf balcony. So, at least in Royal's case, that's not accurate. But thank you for watching- it's really appreciated.
We are traveling with family, two cabins next to each other but not adjoining. It looks like we may have a door to access balconies together. Is that true?
Most cabins I've seen, the balcony divider can be opened to allow access between two cabins. Just ask your stateroom attendant. I hope you have an AMAZING time and thank you for watching.
Wasn't tight at all.. and the balcony is fairly deep... Standard for a standard Balcony. I've definitely seen much smaller, especially on carnival and Norwegian.
The problem with this room is I don't watch TV in bed. Hopefully the TV can be angled to watch from the couch. Also - that art work is horrendous! I love the little foot rest for shaving legs. I always had to bring the balcony stool into the shower 😁 - It is an ok room but I don't love the colour.
Thank you for posting this video. I'm quite disappointed in the size of the room. Was hoping standard rooms would be bigger on this new ship. Yup, I'm going to have to get at least a loft suite when I book. I'm very claustrophobic and will need a lot of room for comfort. I even have to look at the floor in an elevator
99% of all ships will have this- exceptions would be Virgin but their bed takes up space unless you get them to make a sofa out of it. Or cabins with too little space for a sofa. If there's space, they usually fill it.
Besides some color changes, very similar setup to Odyssey and Symphony. I don't see anything that isn't included with Odyssey. Celebrity does a way better job for number of outlet and USB plugs, IMHO. Nothing in this cabin really WOW me.
Most of royal carribean cater to amenities outside of the room. And while celebrity’s probably do have better cabins this cruise line has some of the best cabins compared to most other ships
@@bsn1-6balladaresgrecia20 Reservations for all the shows and restaurants can be made via the app once on board. I highly recommend that be the first thing you do- connect to the ships wifi and book your shows and restaurants. Check-in was essentially showing your docs and scanning your set sail pass. Parking was kind of a pain because they have multiple parking lots and once you get past "19" you have to take a shuttle. Pt Everglads isn't my fav.
I hadn't unpacked yet. Plus, I didn't have that many clothes so I had plenty of space. But yes.. on a longer cruise with more clothes, I would have utilized the space under the bed. Thank you for watching Really appreciate it.
I'm not a fan of the W.O.S rooms decor. It's like 1990s - like old RCI ships. Looks like they skimped on it, thinking of the Chinese Markets tastes as was their original plan...I prefer the Quantum class decor ..much more modern and opulent.
I just watched a video of a Princess balcony cabin. I didn't see a lot of extra space. There wasn't even a couch, just a bed and desk taking up all the space.
@@JourneywithJosh I personally don’t like the blue doors and tiles in the bathroom. Also the beige looks a bit bland and minimalistic to me. I prefer the look of Harmony and Symphony where it’s a lot of dark wood and silver etc.
@@Martiivrooii I saw the sailing plans for this ship and there were many more international trips than domestic. As you said and others pointed out they are catering towards the Asian market to bring in more people.

Bathrooms look the exact same as Norwegians brand new ship (breakaway)
It won’t be too long before the area under the TV will show signs of wear and tear from hanger usage.
And those hooks will probably catch on your clothes a lot. They should be on that little wall area between the tv and the dresser

Nice room with the new minimalist decor. The colors are peaceful but it still looks like the upgraded Motel 6.

Since the cabin faces the ocean, I don't recall ever having any issues with the boardwalk. Cabins that face inwards would.
