This app really needs some advancement to meet current consumer expectations but more disappointing is that my 2020 XC90 has more app functionality than my 2023 S60 Ultimate Recharge. App opportunities for improvement include: 1) Ability to match the app vehicle to your own (same car and color as your vehicle). 2) Ability to turn on seat or steering heat individually 3) Much easier toggle between your Volvo vehicles 4) Driving Journal and data regarding efficiency 5) and some smaller items: i.e. Nav upload, calendar reminders, and VIN quick access. I agree. If I had known earlier, I would not have purchased this 2023 Volvo. The car dealer also did not tell me anything. They are obviously hiding information from their customers.
Maybe Volvo should make another video about troubleshooting it's unstable app. ie how to clear cache and when preconditioning just won't work. Also once the app wasn't working all day no matter what I did. Probably an issue with Volvo's remote service cloud itself. It's really unacceptable that $60k+ luxury cars have such unstable software. This app doesn't even have that many features relative to comp, so what few features it has could at least work properly/reliably enough...

im so glad I have the older 2019 app.... the newer app is still lacking in so many features I still have on my 2019

Exactly! I spent so much time trying to figure out what’s wrong because I didn’t get any help about that really help. Sometimes, just finger pointing

Indeed, I recall being able to locate my Volvo and activate the horn and lights (individually or as a combo). These features are now gone!
That app is horrible and it doesn't work 80% of the time, tried both on apple and android 😢

Utterly useless app on an Android phone; can't pair with the car and doesn't cache VIN unless you pair. C'mon Volvo! Surely you can do better!
