I don't live in Milpitas, but hang out there and pass through often. I have never really noticed the smell. People make it sound like it's Coalinga or something, but it's not that bad at all. And yes, Asian food is great there. Some of the best in the Bay Area.
Great video, man. I was born and raised in The Bay-Area, so I pretty much grew up in "Meetballs". I went to Milpitas High School back in the 90's. Me and the homies used to kick it at Stoner Park across the street. The Alviso dump stench was terrible back then, and seagulls would invade campus during brunch/lunch. Norteño's would gangbang on every single street corner of Serra Side Milpas and ask people they didn't recognize "Sup Ese?! Where you from foo??" But I moved out of California 23 years ago so things might be quite a bit different now lol.
Lots definitely has changed as I went to Milpitas HS in the 2000s. Alviso smell is significantly less, definitely no Nortenos at all. Seagulls still around and won't leave as plenty of food for them to feast on.
I’ve visited Milpitas Ca a couple of times I have friends who live there I enjoy my visits to Milpitas and San Jose Ca and the surrounding areas
Great parks and dining options! Chik fil a is now there too
@@SpencerHsu yes I’ve been to that Chik fil a for breakfast 😂
It smells like a dump
@@knightowl5729 😂 it didn’t when I went maybe it does now
Nope, much less these days than before
Great video and awesome info about Milpitas. Awesome balance with negative and positive attributes. Great Job!
Appreciate it!

Agreed! It’s just an old stigma. It was bad before but not nearly the same!
You need to get your nose checked.
Wear a nose plug
It smell like a dump. Especially on hot days
@@knightowl5729 that is because there is a dump. Only in certain areas.

Depends on the day. I smelled it the other day surprisingly
Typically it stinks in the summer
@amyskyworks yes! Where the winds blow!
Could you make a video on the luxury real estate market in the south bay area?😊
Thanks for your feedback! I will add it to my list
The crime rate is the highest in the country for its size. Thanks to crime they train built from the north. 30 years long gone. Best move ever.
That is interesting. Can you share your source 30 years ago is a long time so you missed out on one of the most appreciating markets in the country.
