They are good in real life if the crew knows what it's doing, russian crews are undertrained. The Ukrainians captured a lot of these tanks and have proved it to be efficient and a hefty destroyer.

Not the same tank, T-72b3m vs T-72m(monkey model), a downgrade variant used for exports, that is obselete now as the modern export is the T-72m1.
