Dens are going to be so helpful for baby carnivores/omnivores! I was playing as a baby wolf once and our pack got absolutely destroyed by a pronghorn. I think we're only missing carrying the babies and the ability to pick up food for them now because yes, we have save dens for them but they still need to eat and drink to survive. At least now we've got a safe place to rest. Also the cougar remodel looks absolutely stunning! Can't wait for the full update
Next animals imo should be bobcat, black bear, moose, ram/bighorn sheep, raven, crow, eagle, raccoon, badgers, weasels, ferrets, and prairie dogs. Then after that they can add sub adults and cubs of each animal. Some animation suggestions are to add fishing for birds and bears, add picking up babies, add picking up food, add jumping for all animals, add climbing for cougars and bears and bobcats, and add digging for raccoons and mustelids. They can also add berries which only omnivores can eat.
As far as I can say, this is one of the coolest games I've ever played in terms of regular updates. With each of them it's getting more and more pleasant to play it and it's also very realistic. I'm playing it since may 2023 and I really love how it evolved. I'm giving it 10/10
Hello! I have an idea for the game, so please add ravens/crows and bald/golden eagles as this would be better with it. Basically i would love to see rotting/half eaten carcasses as it would boost the gameplay in my opinion and i would play much much more with birds, also make the carcasses have a strong smell too. I also want to see beavers and beaver dams in game because beavers are a big part in yellowstone aswell as territory and moose
@@j1mmilton the mane is fine. I've even seen the old horse model. It isn't shown well, but it appears in some of the original videos. Comparing that mane to what we have now, the mane is great. It also looks like an actual mane. For the tail, when it flicks, yes the movement is kinda stiff, but i don't think that requires a whole new model. It just needs reanimated. The bucking could probably also do with an animation upgrade. The walking, trotting, canter, and sprint animations are good as they are.
@@Bonniethebunnyyes, the skins need remodeling, but so does the Mustang model,if you compare a photo of a mustang IRL and one from Yellowstone, you will see that the anatomy is quite wrong
A cool feature imo would be adding more sorts of animations when getting attacked by wolves/coyotes, like the animal you’re playing as showing signs of struggle! :)
I would love to see more calls and animations for the playables! Deer could use a 2 and 3 call, and currently you cant use special attack on the male mule deer!

A mechanic for carrying the puppies would be very useful, in addition to the difference in color between them since we have variant skins for the wolf...
All wolf pups are born brown regardless of the color they become as adults, so there would be no real difference between the variant skins which is why it is the way it is :)

Hey Yellowstone unleashed I don’t know if you read comments but, I have played this game a LOT and found that bears and bison are very overpowered and kill others easily. But in the real world it is balanced out so could you maybe try to make the bears a little less strong or give the other animals advantages? Just a little idea I had. I know this game is still new and I wish you luck on creating it!
I definitely agree the bear is overpowered, however it also depends on the device. I play on Xbox which makes it easy for me to use the bison/bear, however I’ve lost to a single cougar as bison once. I think the bear needs a longer cooldown for its special attack, and two bears shouldn’t be able to use special attack on one animal at once

More ideas! Mark territory like scratch tree-cougar climb tree-carry cubs-add birds-alert when a enemy is near a claimed den

The mustang model is fine. It's just the textures that need redone on some skins.

All wolf pups are born brown regardless of the color they become as adults, so there would be no real difference between the variant skins which is why it is the way it is :)

You should make it so when people mix pack like 4 cougars and 2 bears and just kill everyone they get debbuffs so you’re animal get uncomfortable

I like the old model better. The new one has way to thick legs and they look swollen or something. The old one looked more realistic.
