One of my good friends did medicine, dropped out, changed course and financed himself at university by becoming a taxi driver. One of my friends left his course and set up a company to rival his father's and took all his customers. He drove his father to bankruptcy. It was sweet revenge. The father in this case should have been overjoyed to have two beautiful grandchildren and that should have changed everything and Beth should have sent him to jail. This is why I think students should be government funded at university so they are not financially dependent on their parents and their parents don't have such power over them.
I went to nursing school with a classmate who went to please her mother. My classmate was miserable. She dropped out before we finished our first year.
I was accepted into the most prestigious university in my country, my controlling mother was furious that I didn't get into nursing school because she wanted me to be a nurse, because she always wanted to be a nurse. my mom was like that she never really supported i try to go to a talent show in my high school when i was still there and she just discouraged and my sisters does the same i am glad i am not with my mother anymore.
