Su is still nursing from the dog, and the dog does not want the monkey to ride on its back or continue to nurse it. Her puppies are big enough to eat solid food and her milk could dry up if the monkey would stop nursing.Her puppies want to nurse when the monkey is nursing. Give the dog a break and stop the monkey from nursing. The mother will stop the puppies her own way.
Because monkeys, stump tailed macaques nursery for 1 year, and Su is just following his instincts. It’s not his fault that he’s clinging to a maternal being who is warm, fuzzy, has a supply of milk that he requires- he doesn’t see himself as a monkey or the dog as a separate species. He’s simply following an instinct right now. You should look up a study that was done on baby monkeys it was cruel and brutal. But it shows that they’ll cling to a dirty dish rag if that is the only thing they have for comfort. We share 98% DNA with these creatures, so you might want to think on that. We aren’t so very different from them. Their troops, and hierarchies are made up of complex systems, not so different from humans.
Human babies will take cows milk, but you’re disgusted by this monkey nursing from a dog?
We eat a variety of different kinds of foods that are odd and kinda gross. In some countries, animal poop is a delicacy. We eat the eggs of animals. Their livers, their brains. But here you are, gross out from a monkey- an infant monkey -who is just following his instincts and misses his real mommy…. Is nursing from a dog. Is it odd? Yeah. But in this situation, it’s what’s working for Su. He’s going to do better than most monkeys who are taken from their mothers , because he has her.
He may not even develop many of the same issues that baby monkeys get when they are taken, floating limb syndrome, being overly aggressive, constantly sucking his fingers….
Do I approve? No, of course not. But he’s getting affection, a warm supply of food, and may not turn out like so many others in his position do.
And in these circumstances, that’s a plus.

Wooooooow kuku is like a big strong man
While some dog food contains rice, it appeared here that the whole meal for the dogs, was rice and some green beans for the mother dog. A very strange way to feed animals. And again fruit for the monkeys. No doubt, they will end up with diabetes. And so very sad to make the dog carry a monkey. It will continue to do that when older and bigger. This woman hasn’t a clue. All just to make money.
Rice per se is not bad for dogs but a lactating dog needs meat and vegetables. If she's fed only 1/3 meat or 2/3, - she needs meat and, vegetables. The same goes for the puppies, they should !! grow into healthy dogs; rice will just make them fat and that can create joint problems.
The system here is to keep the cost low for the protagonists to maximise profit. Revolting, when animals are concerned!!
rice is not cheap, if you think rice is cheap it is a mistake, if rice is not good why is it a MAIN food in MANY COUNTRIES?

If you mean my message, please note that I am literally saying that "Rice per se is not bad for dogs". This means rice is good for dogs, in REASONABLE quantities. If the bigger part of a dog's bowl is rice, then it's not correctly fed. A dog, and even more a lactating dog, should have proteins and fibres. This can be found in meat and vegetables. A dog that has 95% rice in its bowl, 3% vegetables and 2% meat, is not fed according to the NEEDS of the species. And, by the way, monkeys can digest rice but it's not appropriate for them. Thank you.
Why doesn't she give them real dog food ? when you want animals you have to feed them correctly or don't take animals .

Fresh food if one knows how and what to feed, is better than processed dog food containing a lot of artificial additives. My dogs get freshly cooked food but according to their needs (age, exercise, etc), i.e. a lot of meat, a lot of vegetables and a little cereal (pasta or rice).

Please tell me with two adult monkeys who seem to be so intelligent, why is it they cannot take on the respond teaching and looking after Su. They are all the same species are they not. I could see that if there were no other monkeys around. Love Kuku. Let Su learn from them
