Eager to capitalize on the success of its CTS sedan Cadillac has expanded the CTS from a single car into a range of vehicles. One of the more recent additions is the CTS Sport Wagon, a family friendly rendition of Cadillac's mid-size luxury vehicle.
I just bought a 2012 CTS 4 Sportwagon Luxury Edition second hand still under warrenty, and extended the warrenty another three years at my local Caddillac Dealer. Caddy was always on the bucket list of my wife and myself. We needed something with more capacity than the 4 door sedan, but didn't want an SUV, Truck, or Van. To be honest, I wasn't even fully aware of the sport wagon untill I saw a picture of it online. I found one locally, with only 32,000 miles on it, and couldn't let it get away on me. If you like Caddys, and want more versatility, I would recommend the sportwagon in a second. This car is so smooth, tight, straight, and just a joy to drive. Looking forwar d to some road trips this summer to our cabin in the Rocky Mountains.
Mr Nobody
I too just bought a 2012 CTS Wagon Premium with all-wheel and 19" tires. Saw it on line. Had been looking for a loaded 12 or 13 with everything. This was it. Found it on line after looking for about a year. It even has the same interior finish as my traded in 2010 CTS4 sedan. This is a marvelous machine in every way. I plan to keep it. Mr. Nobody.....enjoy the car!

That's fantastic. I'm Happy for you! I just got the chance to drive my Sportwagon in Icy & Snowy Conditions. The car handled it seamlessly. What amazing technology, such a Pleasure to Drive!
Mr Nobody
I am looking forward to that opportunity. J am in the NYC area and we have gotten no snow yet this season. But I did deal with some heavy rain and I was very impressed.
Enjoy! Be safe...
I Have Blizzack Winter Tires on ALL 4 wheels, it makes a huge difference. Using Sport Mode option on Transmission, hardly have to use Brakes. Brilliant!
It's actually a very sexy car especially for a wagon ! I hope you have good luck with yours thanks for sharing!
KBB reviews is one of the few reviews that can review a car for 5 minutes or so without boring the audience to death...!!! Thumbs up!!
I wish Cad still built this car
Awesome 😃 👍 2011 Cadillac CTS sport wagon review .
If your in the market for one of these you better hurry! They only made 7k of these total including 600 in the V and less than a 100 V's where manual trans. These are quickly becoming harder to find with low miles and soon will be a collectable. P.S. This is the ONLY Station Wagon Cadillac ever produced!
yeah but how are maintenance prices? like are they considered bad cars?
I just bought one in Canada 2 months ago. 2010 with 96000 kilometres. Absolutely love it. AWD and a 3.6. Unfortunately I plan to drive it but will do my utmost best to take care of it.
I’ve had the V wagon for 5 years. I hope I never sell it
Wow yeah man, it’s only going to get more rare
Interesting user name and DP..
@madant1977 What's your point? The CTS is the best looking car in the entry luxury segment. The Bimmer and Audi will leave you on the side of the road waiting for a tow truck. The CTS is very reliable along with the C class. I have test driven the Caddy and own an 09 C. The C had a better interior when I test drove it but the exteriors do not compete, CTS takes the cake. The CTS is also a larger car. It is actually the biggest for it's segment.
A crossover is basically a wagon with higher ground clearance.
and usually a slightly higher lift gate opening
I love Caddy wagons
Proud owner of a 10' CTS4.
prob is the rear lift gate slopes downward too much limiting the size of items you can insert to carry back there. Our HHR's roof and lift back is high so we have fitted in all manner of sofas, benches, chairs, tables, futons, etc... they needed to have kept the roof line a tad higher by the lift gate for better practicality of a wagon.
I wish they offered the V model with AWD. Then I wouldn't need a sports car in the summer and an AWD car in the winter. Okay, I don't *need* the summer sports car, but yeah, AWD + V-spec performace = hell yes.
Agreed
Well Done GM innovation...the new Cadillacs - highly desirable
I presently own a 06 CTS and a 11 CTS. I looking for a wagon on the east coast. let me know family.
do more of those "lifestyle" reviews, those are much better imo
Look at how many people visited this site and checked out a Luxo Caddy Wagoon..economy must not be that bad..JC...Love the car though.
The regular one is boring, but the v-wagon is epic!
@Talkinghead007 I like it but they only sell in V6 or V8. No 4cyl means no european share. Thats why no one buys a Cadillac in UK. Same with Infiniti.
Super vehicle!
First slide, they spell Cadillac "Caddilac"
One sexy wagon
i like this but the rear reminds of a saab 9-3 sportcombi
@dragonamt
Duuh. Resale value is basically want the people want. more people would by a BMW than a Caddy.
Hell, 8 years ago, it's 8 years in the future calling. You should check out the price on "old" CTS-V wagons. They're like 60 grand still. This video isn't about the V series, but there's no denying the incredibly high resale value of the Vs.
I'M NOT SURPRISED THAT THE HANDLING ISN'T GOOD FOR THE CADDY IT'S JUST THEY WON'T MAKE THE REFINEMENTS THAT IT NEEDS TO BE THAT TOP RATED CAR ON THE LINES OF EUROPEAN HANDLING TO COMPETE IN THE AUTO WORLD MARKETS BEEMER BENZ HAVE BEEN SUPREME IN THESE MARKETS FOR A LONG TIME IT WOULD BE NICE TO SEE U.S. FINALLY ENTER IN THESE MARKETS WITH SOUND GOOD PRODUCTS!!!!
@madant1977 I'm from the U.S. and live in Japan. Interior quality does not differ on the EU and US models they are all the same except engine options, US BMWs are better equipped and cheaper though. The Bimmers here are imported from Europe, and many in England are imported from Japan. The 3 series does not have very good interior quality in the first place. Audi is the best for interior quality but the worst for reliability. Have you forgotten about the Autobaun? Low speed limits my ass.
I have always like the cadillac brand. Hope it will do well in the UK. its a shame that the UK people dont like them.
Better looking then My friend's pathetic 328i Wagon, at the better price with better engine.
I like it!
@madant1977 You don't think people break the speed limit in the US and have a little fun? The 500+ ponies under the Caddys hood are good for anywhere except here in Japan, speed limits are very slow here. All Euro luxury cars have the same interiors as their US counterparts. Many are still made in Europe and imported to the US, it is the cars with the lower profit margin that are built stateside. The US Jetta is a US Jetta, that's VWs mistake by fragmenting markets. Audis are unreliable as hell
@marshknute Oh yeah I forgot about those!! hahaha my point is that it is a good review..
@moneshmahtani that doesnt make any sense at all
@flatblackstrat Whether you like the looks of a car or not always comes down to personal preference. I personally for example think that the CTS is - by far - the least attractive looking when compared to the Audi A6, BMW 5 series or Merc E-Class.
And I don't see how the CTS is more reliable than a Bimmer or Audi ...
Great wagon :()
@dragonamt BMW most reliable car munfacturer of Europe, voted by 50 lease companies and tested on over 1.2 million automobiles in the UK. I want you to list all your friend's problems, see if any of them really are real.
review gets boring after 4 mins
U
@stewardlie Ever heard of Top Gear, Fifth Gear, Motor Trend, Autocar and Roadflytv? Oh, sorry, Roadflytv isn't that interesting, they just just let a smoking hot woman drive the car!
I love the SRX, this one is questionable
the exterior looks like a hearst wtf
urgh.... wagons...
after about a year and a few washes and the tires get dirty, it'll be just another nondescript also mass consumption car...... No kind of Excitement........ boring.
like yer mom
Gohot229 it’s been more than a year and it’s still an exciting vehicle
@seauryakumar Yer ture.
the front looks good but the back is awuful
