My only complaint with omni are the skins. I wish there was a second, couldve been his OG viltrumite suit he came to earth in. Think if this game had more time under its belt we probably would have more in the game. I know sub zero fans are gonna eat good next season, definitely gonna be getting his dark Sub skin

3:40 I'm in the middle of the first season right now. His different color pallets are from other super heroes costumes in the show and both his fatals plus most his brutals are directly from the show. You gotta check it out!
I'm honestly really interested in how they will make Homelander feel more mortal kombat-ish instead of an average injustice character. So far they made omni-man very deferent so there is hope, although Omniman him self is way deferent than most super heroes in terms of his moves.
They gave Omni supermans dive bomb and a martian manhunter launcher. They'll definitely give homelandet supermans lasers and then who knows for the rest. Like you said Omni feels great though
I'd say he's probably too ten ish but he's definitely not on the caliber of like the top 3. He's definitely a good character but he has many issues. He has 0 special moves that are safe on block which is really annoying to handle because sometimes you can't use a kameo to stay safe. And if you want to go for like the uppercut or the spine shatter you must have an ambush to not die if they block you but he doesn't have the greatest synergy with the ambush kameos with block utility that are basically only Kano and Stryker. He also has gaps on the best two strings he has which are 12 and 22 and he also has mediocre to terrible frame data on all of his strings and special other than 122. He's a ton of fun but I really feel like they made way too many of his moves needlessly unsafe.

But who doesn't have gaps or punishable specials. And how many times have you seen armor counters on the second button in the string? Gaps in strings are not as bad. Everyone has them

I watched the first season of Invincible a few years ago. I was stoked to see Omni-Man as a DLC for MK1. I'm most looking forward to Ermac next in the KP.

Let's get some more Omni-Man. Another fun reset with Stryker, F41 is an easy restand with the handcuffs if you don't want to spend meter and just get immediate pressure.

Honestly when the game came out i finished the story, invasions and played online, honestly i quickly got tired of it, i liked a couple characters but never really clicked with any so i ended up getting bored and left. Came back for omni man release and let me just say i have been addicted to this game since, and i cannot stop playing omni man, I'm having so much fun with him.
I watched the series when it came out and was even more pleased when Omni-Man was confirmed as a guest for MK1. Unfortunately I haven't been able to play it yet, but I really like everything I've seen so far!

For anyone who’s watched the walking dead invincible was made by Robert Kirkman and the shows also is made of actors who played in dc and marvel movies it’s insane how many actors they have so I advise everyone to watch the show I went CRAZY seeing some of the moves from the show

As a robocop main in mk11 i am excited for peacemaker. He seems like hed be a zoner/rushdown hybrid like robo. Also it would be hilarious if he had an invisibility move
I feel like Omni-man is mid to low tier, he’s fun and he has a solid combo, but his a lot of his setups are high risk and the only way he has a reliable low is when you equip someone like frost, striker, or kung Lao (Kameo). Playing Omni-man, then playing Kung-Lao(Character) back to back made me realize how little options Omni man has for both set ups and combo variety Edit: 10:48 couldn’t have said it better myself 😭
Just in case it isn't clear to you or maybe other people in the comments, Omni-Mans stance does counter Sareena. The reason it didn't work is because you exited the stance exactly at the moment he threw the knives, so if you're expecting a projectile and it's not coming, I'd recommend just canceling and re-doing the stance to essentially reset the clock.
Waz u can do almost a 50% with Darious Kameo. Db2- delayed kameo (right as Omniman breaks their back) wake up fw3 into db3 - 2121 - switch side - 2121 - switch - 212 - 121+3
I watched invincible , I’m at episode 2 of season 2 ….the shows awesome , I’d recommend you check it out Waz. You’ll understand some references in the dialogues 😅. “Think Think” 😂
Also if you do the kano knives immediately after air invincible rush the knives will come from off screen and when they go to punish you if they don’t respect the knives full combo punish

Agree with most of this tbh, 12 and 22 having gaps is kinda sad and he is pretty weak without Kameo haha but with Kameo he is kindaaa SUS
