That Devon Van was not so bad, Kev: the one I found in the coal bunker at my Mum's house a few years back was so bad it was barely recognisable: I am still not sure what the original livery was!. I finished it as a more modern take on the original Raleigh unit, with the classic decals, spun wheels and a metallic green finish. No pictures here, sadly, but it still looks nice, though I did it donkey's ago. They are terrific castings, these mid-fifties Dinky Toys - I love the integrity of the moulding detail. The old style of painting hid so much back in the day, I think. You've made a really nice, sensitive job of that one, so Great Save!
