I often recreate my existing charcters in the sims 3 to get new ideas for events/storylines, for example I played around the the supernatural dlc and now my main ocs are witches New ocs I create first in sims 4, to get their looks right, but the personalitys are to bland in sims4, so then I switch to sims 3 again
@@Dustandmarbles yes definitely, sims 3 has more personality traits and they effect the gameplay more, in sims 4 traits (mostly) just effect the sims moodlets, while in sims 3 they effect the sims actions, reactions and wants (sims 4 only had wants for about a year and I haven't played much since then, but in s3 the wants seem more effected by the personality traits) For example the Bookworm trait: Sims 3: sims read books when they have nothing to do, their interactions are things like "talk about that book" "discuss books" "discuss favorite author" and they have wants like go to the library, buy books, read 10 books or read 3 books of a specific genre Sims 4: sims pick up books and read them for about a second and then place the in some random spot in the house (and that's not just a bookworm thing, all sims do that), with conversation I'm not sure how they are effected, but I think there less options than in sims 3, the wants are just "go to the library" and there they won't even read books (they're gonna hold books but they just do what I described earlier) and the moodlets just put them in a positive mood while they read and that's it Sorry if I rambled on for to long, I love talking about the sims
@@wildfloweruwu No need to apologise, that's really interesting to know!! I originally had sims 3 but never really had a computer it worked on so since getting a desktop pc ended up playing sims 4 but I'm thinking I'll see if I can install sims 3. I've definitely found the traits a little single dimensional in 4 so hopefully sims 3 will give me some more interesting results :)
Making characters based off video games ended up with me having fifteen bioshock OCs and i regret nothing
such a mood, I love making video games characters for games I'm invested in, it's like making my own bonus content 😄

ah that's interesting! Would you say the personality creation part of sims 3 is better then?
