Thank you very much Lee!! I hope these videos catch some people early on in their development and can really help them excel quickly in the speed bag journey!! A lot of people stop bagging early on when learning because it’s difficult and not much fun. I hope these videos help them enjoy them selves while getting good fast!
Man I just went down a rabbit hole and found this video. I love your energy. Wasn’t interested in speed bag before this but I am committed on getting one. Can wait to start. Much thanks!
@@infamousink YES!!! That’s what I love to hear. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. We love to see the community grow! Make sure you go watch my playlist of common speed bag questions. The first one covers a lot of equipment. Buy what you’re going to use not what you’re going to learn on. If you think you’re excited now wait till you start landing moves with ease. So much fun! 🤛🏽🤛🏽
I appreciate you, Jeff, Your coaching technique is spot on, thanks for taking the time in sharing your knowledge. It's helped tremendously. That reverse roll for is still challenging for me. But I'm determined to get it. Thanks brother!
What's the cheapest way to deaden the thud / slap of the bag vibration without reducing the rebound speed? My drum weighs 4kg, so I was going to put 12x2Ltr 24kg water bottles on top of it strapped or belted together, then maybe stick a foam, gel or rubber 10-30mm on the drum to cushion the blow, not sure which option is best open cell / closed cell or low density / high density foam.

@@KevinJamesHannant sounds good. There may be some easier ways we can get you some stability in your platform. Also, why kind of ball and air pressure are you currently using?
@@Speedbagthrasher I was looking at getting a medium Meister 9x6 bag for the 24" drum, it's a freestand designed to take 120kg, it has two top beams for the punch bag & speed bag, I'll be hanging a 60kg aqua bag from one beam, the base is supported by 30kg on three dowel pins, 90kg.
The way you teach worked perfect for the way I learn. I wish I would have discovered you before I learned so many bad habits. Keep teaching my man!!!
