Fuck, this is high quality music. What a group of skilled musicians assembled here.
and you are listening radiohead too. you are awesome
These are musicians.. Didnt sell their soul to the industry. His net worrh is staggering from just putting on a great show.. Main stream music has never even heard of him.. Im thankful for that.. Stevie Ray, Gary Moore, now Joe carries the torch..
You can be mainstream and have integrity. He sells out large venues and has done so for years, Joe _is_ mainstream and not some hidden treasure you use to define how eclectic you are. Just like SRV and Moore, who were famous as balls.
It seems that you forgot someone ... the owner of this incredible song! The fantastic Tom Waits!!!
Absolutely Luc. Brilliant songwriter!
JB followers are like a secret society. Quietly growing in numbers. Stay cool🤓
Bobbie Jean Barnett that’s because once you’ve heard joe and band (all artists in their own right) you can’t get too much. Nothing beats hearing a new joe tune for the first time 😁
This is what music is supposed to be. Hard to believe there are those complaining about the number of guitars? It's only about the music that comes out of them. This has been Joe's passion since he was a young boy. It shows his dedication that he uses different instruments to get just the right sound. The other players on this are all phenomenal as well, especially the percussionist, Lenny Castro.
My wife and I just saw Joe in Portland, OR on 4/13. I believe he opened with this, and went on to blow the doors off the place. What an amazing artist and performer!!
Joe Bonamassas version is so good, he is one of my favorite musicians 🥰
piano intro IS AMAZING!
Totally agree - came back just to watch him again.
Wow, Joe improved his singing skill so much. And the sound in this Opera House is so great. Bonamassa made the best interpretation of this song.
It should be illegal to be this talented.
When Joe walks in your guitar shop you must think all your Christmas's have come at once!
This guy is already in the blues hall of fame...rare talent!!
I agree man!!!! you are absolutely right
THIS IS THE BEST VERSION OF JOCKEY FULL OF BURBON!
I don't care where your from or who you are, Joe is BADASS!!!!!!
Bonamassa playing Tom Waits=GREAT!! Love the way he covered this!
I like John Hammond version
I saw Joe for the first time in 2001 at a small club in Houston called the Meridian. There were about 15 of us in the room. Joe was setting up his own guitars and took the time to visit with my wife and me. The next day, I told my buds I had just seen the best blues player since SRV. Look at the man today.... Keep bringing it Joe... You are the man.
Prodigy plays the blues.
Love you Joe!
I was blessed to get to see this live in concert the other night. Joe Bonamassa blew me away with his performance. The great thing was he played a half acoustic half electric show and did not let anyone down.
This song was my introduction to Joe. I walked into my local record shop (Casuarina, Northern Territory, Australia) and they were playing this CD. I recognised the song as I'm a big TW fan. I asked the guy in the store who the artist was and he showed me the CD cover. I listened to a few more tracks and bought the CD. That was the start of an addiction from which I will never recover - not that I want to!
I've had the pleasure of seeing Joe in concert once a few years ago in Amsterdam. He's appearing in the same venue in May and I'll be there!!!
So happy to see Kevin Spacey on the accordion. (yes, he did some bad things, but everyone deserves a second chance!)
@@sas6561 hahaha
I swear I thought this guy to be in his 50s when I've seen this concert cause he has that good old, gritty down to earth sound that those old Blues cats were known for back then. But to my surprise, he's 30ish, so I guess that makes him a young guy with an old soul, exactly what pop needs today!
Where is the LOVE button? I absolutely love this entire concert! Love ya Joe!
Absolutely love this version of the song! FANTASTIC!!! B-)
no words can say how awesome jb is., he's ridiculously out of this world!!!!!
Great guitar solo! That piano completes the song!
Masterpiece!
And that, my friends, is what this man does. He doesnt play and sing songs......he creates masterpieces. This is what they mean when they call music art. He is Picasso
The man born to play & sing !!!
Just went last night at the Dolby, I do not go to too many concert, but I wanted to go to that one. After hearing his concert on TV last March, I think it was the one in Vienna, I sat straight on the couch, said to my BF, who's this ? He's goood :)) Also, I am not a huge fan of blues, some, but HIS blues I am a fan of, loved the various instruments/players accompanying him. Where is that keyboardist that played with him in Vienna ?, We really enjoyed him too. Well, thank you so much for being you Joe Bonamassa. You are a gift to us all. Walking out of the Dolby, I told BF, he's the Guitar man, they suit each other very nicely indeed :))
I love Joe’s…”glad I remembered all the words”! 😎🎶💙🎸🎤👍🏽
Joe Bonamassa is arguably the greatest guitar player of all time not just his generation. Anybody that even compares Tom Waits to Joe needs to stop taking all the LSD and get back to reality. Really I'm the guy who would know when enough is enough, believe me!
SO fucking solid, Joe - We need more acoustic!!!
Love the piano part in this
I'm diggin' on the piano on Athens to Athens LIVE at Vienna Opera House! Check it out if have not already. :-)
I saw Joe play last night in Sacramento. Great seats better music. My son wanted to know why crowd was mostly older people. I laughed and told him that with age comes wisdom. He'll get the joke in 30 years or so.
I know you won't see this but Thank you Joe
ich hatte das glück und war bei der aufnahme in der oper dabei...fantastisch...super
learned to know him 2 months ago, RUclips, very good man on guitar, best worldwide in blues-feeling,
can't help but agree with everyone, Joe is a living legend. So refreshing to see a guitarist who loves to play and doesn't realize how good he is. Can't wait to see him again in September
Joe;
Your music is my therapy from Divorce,,
Hall Of Fame. Hall Of Fame. HALL . OF . FAME !!!!!!
Pure genius!
he is the greatest guitarist i have seen in awhile.
Everything Joe does is wonderful. this is a great song.
I love the acoustic guitar in this one!
Gonna see him TONIGHT in PDX and I cant wait!!
A million Wows!!!! Wonderful every time I listen and watch!!!! What a great trio on this one!
State Theater Easton Pa. Jan,14 2016. This 1680 Seating capacity theater screams acoustic perfection. Entertainers like Joe have deep roots in small venues like this. I'm very excited for this show.
Why doesn't everybody shut up and enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks Joe and Ari and an awesome support
Can't wait to see Joe B live one day. Simply AMAZING.
I get to see him live tonight! VERY excited...
How was it?
Well Joe, you sing a sad song and play masterfully! Great talent.
Joe...so tasteful...in every sense and skill.
This man....can play.....any genre' ,he desires...Incredible talents......:)
Could listen to Joe all day and night.
One of the best songs you will ever find on the internet.Bonamassa is a legend.
Фантастический трек! Блестящая комбинация акустической гитары и рояля, ну и, конечно, завораживающий голос! Браво!!!
Joe B. is very addictive and I'm a PROUD USER !!!!!!!!
The mastery behind this......
He said of his voice that he just "shouts in key" but he's really good when the song demands it.
great sound, love watching Joe work the fretboard
Arlan Oscar makes this fantastic. What a keyboardist!
JoeBo Du bist und bleibst unerreichbar !!!
This is too epic to be real. I wish Joe would come to Lisbon, Portugal. I'd instantly buy tickets without thinking twice.
+roxie I convinced a group of friends to go on vacation to Prague with me last year when he played at Forum Karlin, just because i wanted to see him live and he wouldn't come to Italy^^
i might do that :)
roxie Well honestly i often try to go on vacation when and where there is a show i'm really interested in, you end up spending some more money but it's always worth it:)
now he's on top 3 of my fav guitarist along with Clapton & Knopfler
Awesome stuff I saw Joe at Sony Center in Toronto, was a concert to not forget. First time I see a performer play a full concert of 2 an half hours of music with no back up band; Live is one of the best concerts not to miss.
I also want to say how much I love and how talented Arlan Scheirbaum is. What a killer musician. Piano, organ, anything with keys! I read his bio, Joe was fortunate to find such a talented band member.
From 4'20" to 4'35", notice how smoothly he transitions back from accordion to piano
genialny wystep w Wiedniu, mistrz i akustycznych gitar, co JB udowodnil w tym koncercie.:)
Superb version!
I love the Tom aits version too. But I agree this one is the BEST!!!! 💋💋💋
Saw Joe in Portland. An incredible night of rockin blues. I will see him again in Reno, NV in December.
Unfortunately I was not there on July 3rd 2013. But I got now the blue Ray and LP Great sond and great musicans! It creates always tears as this song finds alys a direct way to my heard!
The Band kicks as 2!!!!! Big time!!
sublime !
Still listening and enjoying Jockey Full of Borbon
Brilliant! I feel one lucky joe hearing this!
Unfortunately Joe isn't coming to France this year. I saw him at Vienne (near Lyons) in 2010, Geneva in 2011 and Lyons in 2012. 2013 is going to be a very long year.
Keep up the good work Joe, you're creating a new generation of blues fans.
I read recently that Mark Knopfler (another hero of mine, seeing him in two weeks' time) saved the 80's from the synthesiser - let's hope that JB and one or two others save the 2010's from the techno-computer written brainless stuff we get on the radio now.
The best blues guitar! This guy is a genius
ive been playing guitar for a long time, and that riff is the coolest riff I ever heard, from anyone.
Amen!
Can listen to Joe B all day
Brilliant!. Never seen Arlan play a chest organ. He and Joe could probably play almost anything. SO GOOD to see professionals playing.
Can it get any better? My favorite guitarist singing my man Wait's song. Pure bliss!
Great guitar playing as always, great vocals on this track too!!
Thank you!
This is my favorite version. Awesome. Joe is an inspiration to all aspiring guitar players like me. Thanks for sharing.
How can anyone not like this? Epic!
just amazing how he makes this solo sound..wonderful..
Michael Koller The guy plays 13's. He's got massive dexterity in his hands to bend so close to the nut and with absolute perfect precision. Such an incredible guitar player.
To personally see him live is a must.
I could listen to this song all day long
a legend in our time too!!!!
Saw your gig at AECC in Aberdeen last night. Blown away - word is out on Bonamassa!!!!! Thanks for the download awesome!
got my joe fix for the day, loooove joe , and great band♡
Perfecto! Harmonica, piano y Joe Bonamassa. Totalmente Blues perfecto!!!!
Just beautiful!
and I'm fascinated by the accordeon. Breathtakingly!
Amazing, Amazing, Awesome, I Love The Way Starts Out.. You Had me Dancing..😎🙋♀️❤

mr joe bonamassa je vous adore .ce morceau avec solo de piano ,guitare seche et percussion est sublime merci
This is an absolutely brilliant cover 👏 love it, just 3 guys enjoying what they do...can't beat it 🎸💕
love this version
I'm a gigantic Tom Waits fan. And I tend to hate most versions that people make of his songs. But this - man, this rocks. HARD. Obviously, it doesn't sound like a Tom Waits' song anymore. But listen to that solo! Damn!
Very good....need to play @Bonarroo in Tennessee!!! I would definitely go to watch
OMG!!!!! ME!!!!! This is my favorite song!
(I have a crush on the piano player!)
I absolutely LOVE this song. Have to hear it at least once a day.
He is absolutely fabulous. All the songs from Vienna are super. Keep up the great work!
it's like he took every one of my suggestions over the years. great stuff. boy was I wrong about the acoustic stuff-its awesome, like the Black Crowes. I just thought it would be like, I don't know, Godsmack acoustic or something.
